Mias POV

"Hey honey, how are you doing?" My mom asks as I go into her office

"I'm good can I please eat in here for lunch?"

"Of course Mia," she says "how are you?"

"I'm definitely the best of all of us right now," I laugh

"You're probably right,"

"Why do you have Mateo?" I ask

"Mommy has a conference call today," she sighs "and Maté always cries when she does that,"

"Hi," he says

"Hey Mateo, does he come to class with you?"

"Yep, just hangs out all day with mama right buddy?" She asks tickling him

"Ya," he giggles

I eat and Lexi comes in a few minutes later.

"There's my favourite sibling," she says

"Hey Lexi,"

"Not you, Mateo," she laughs taking him from mom "can I take him for lunch?"

"Please," Toni says

She leaves and I laugh

"Who was more excited about the baby- you or Lexi?"

"Lexi for sure," she groans "I don't sleep anymore,"

"He doesn't cry,"

"No- he babbles into his baby monitor all night until I come hangout with him," she says spinning in her chair

"Hey Kid," Reggie says coming in

"Hey Uncle Reggie,"

"Why aren't you eating with your friends?" He asks

"I don't have any friends," I laugh "everyone here hates me,"

"That's not true sweetie," mom says

"Everyone not related to me,"

"Well.."

"It's fine mom- I'm not hear to make friends, I'm hear to be the best,"

Reggie laughs and shakes his head

"You get more like Cheryl everyday kiddo,"

I laugh and keep eating my food when my mom gets a call.

"Hey Thomas," she says

Thomas- lawyer

"Yeah yeah... tonight works," she sighs

She looks concerned

"Lexi? She has to... damn. I'll talk to her,"

Must be about the hospital or Wren.

"And Cheryls thing.. has Ed found anything?"

Ed- Private Investigator

"Okay, just send that please,"

She hangs up and sighs

"The lawyer?" I ask

"Yeah, Lexi has to talk to the court tonight about what happened at the hospital," she shrugs

"What about Wren?"

"He will be in jail again by next week- reduces sentence to 2 more years instead of 3 but that's fine,"

We talk for a bit until Lexi comes back

"Lex, we need to go to the court tonight.." mom says "to talk about the hospital,"
