TJ's POV

it's my first day back at school and I'm nervous.

"Mama maybe I'll stay home with you one more day,"

"Tony, I promise you'll be fine okay?"

"Are you feeling better?"

"It'll get better after today, don't worry TJ,"

She's been really sick, super tired and pale.

"Have a good day,"

I nod and go outside where Lex is waiting on the car.

"You're going to make me late,"

I laugh and shake my head

"Moms said you had to be nice,"

She grunts and drives to school.

"Want me to walk you to your locker?" She asks

"Sure,"

I get some stares as we walk but nothing too bad.

"TJ, how are you man?" Trey asks

"I'm doing better," I sigh "won't be on the field for a few more weeks,"

"That's alright, good to see you doing better,"

"Thanks,"

Lex and him go to class and AJ and LJ come over.

We talk for a couple minutes and Charlie, Em, and Louis all walk over.

"Tony, I didn't know you were coming back today," Charlie says hugging me

"I didn't know if I wanted to,"

"I'm glad you're here," she says kissing me

"I'm sorry you couldn't come over, my moms still pretty sick,"

"It's okay," she laughs

"You two coming to class?" AJ teases

"Calm down AJ,"

We go to English and then history.

Mia comes in crying and I stand up and hug her.

"Mia, what happened?" I ask

She shakes her head and we go into the hallway with AJ.

"Mia what happened?"

"I want to go home," she cries "I want to see mommy,"

"Ok, but Mia what happened?"

"I DONT WANT TO TALK ABOUT IT TJ!" She yells

I call Lexi and she says she's on her way over.

"Bro, she doesn't have that bracelet," LJ whispers "that your mom gave her,"

I bend down to where she's still crying and wipe her tears.

"Mia where did your bracelet go? The one Mama got you,"

"She took it,"

"Who?"

She shakes her head and Lexi finally makes it here

"Mia it's okay," she says hugging her "I promise you Mia, you're okay,"

"I wanna go home, I wanna see mama," she cries

I'm hanging out with Toni, who's in and out of sleep when the front door opens.
