My Hero, Forever

Third Person POV
Today was the celebration of the three great quest, about 15 years ago the Zeus and Hera familia had set out to kill 3 super beast. The Leviathan, beast of the sea. The Behemoth, beast of the land. And the last one, the One Eyed Black Dragon, beast of the sky. They had successfully killed the leviathan and behemoth, but they were wiped out by the One Eyed Black Dragon. Those who survived ended being banished from Orario.

Ais POV
Ais had been unable to relax today. Every corner she turns she sees posters of the One Eyed Black Dragon, she remembers its red glowing eyes staring right at her before it killed her father and took her mother.

"I'll definitely kill that dragon and get my mother back" Ais thought before going back home only to bump into a white haired and red eyed boy

"I'm sorry!" The boy screamed out

"It's okay Bell, why were you in a hurry?" Ais asked

"Oh, I was looking around trying to find the exhibit for the One Eyed Black Dragon" Bell said

Ais shivered at the mention of the Beast's name. Despite wanting revenge she was still scared of it.

"Why?" Ais asked trying to recompose herself

"If I recall correctly it's still alive, so if we ever encounter it in the future, I want to know it's weak spots" Bell replied

Encounter it!? Why would Bell want to fight it?! He should run! I don't want him to die too!

"Oh okay, shall I join you? Ais said

"You can j..join me i..f y..you w..want" Bell said losing his calm facade

Ais and Bell were checking out everything, Ais couldn't help but notice how more mature and tall Bell had gotten. She decided to shake of the feeling on her cheeks so that she can ask something

"Bell, why would you fight it instead of running away?" Ais asked

"Well it's true I can just run away, but I don't want to run anymore. I'm tired of always running away, so if it ever appears again I want to be everyone's hero and save them" Bell said

"Everyone's.....Hero?" Ais asked

"Yeah! I want to save everyone, even at the cost of my life" Bell said

"Oh it's getting late, I'll see you tomorrow Ais!" Bell said running back to the hearth fire mansion.

Third Person POV
Ais was seen walking back home with an uncomfortable look on her face. When she went inside everyone tried to talk to her only to be pushed to the side, she just walked straight into her room avoiding all eye contact.

Riveria POV
We were all eating and talking before we heard a door open, we all looked to see Ais with an uncomfortable expression. I hadn't seen Ais make that face in a long time, the last time she made it was when she found out her dad died and her mom was taken. I'll go talk to her after she settles down a little

Time Skip

"Ais may I come in" Riveria heard a small voice signaling she can come in

"Ais why are you sad?" Riveria asked

"Bell" Ais said

"What did Bell do?"

"He said he would fight the One Eyed Black Dragon, even if it costed his life" Ais said with tears threatening to come out

"Tell me Ais, what do you feel when your around Bell?" Riveria asked

"I feel hope, my cheeks start to burn, and my heart starts beating faster" Ais said

"Very well, now let me ask you this, do you feel this around anyone else?" Riveria asked

"No, it only happens when Bell is around" Ais replied

"Ais, are you in love with Bell Cranel?" Riveria said

"L..Love!?" Ais said with a blush starting to form on her cheeks

"Looks like I was right, if you really love the boy than you should confront your feelings" River said

Ais got up the bed only to be stopped by Riveria

"Not right now Ais, it's late, you should sleep now if you want to talk to him before he goes to the dungeon" Riveria said before walking out of the room

Time Skip - Ais POV
I was walking through a field with Bell, until the sky blackened, in the distance I can see red eyes, Bell then tells me to stay back and right before my eyes I see Bell get burned alive. In front of me was the One Eyed Black Dragon, it was laughing at me telling me that I was too weak

Ais woke up only to see that it was just a dream

"W..What k..kind of d.dream w.was that" Ais said

"I'll just go for a m..morning jog to c..clear my head" Ais said before getting ready

Ais was about to turn the corner until she bumped into a white haired and red eyed adventurer again

"I'm sor-wait Bell?" Ais said

"Ais!?" Bell said

"What are you doing out this late?" Bell asked

"I should be asking you that" Ais said

"Well I guess I better be going now, I have to prepare my gear" Bell said

"Wait! I have to ask you something"

"Why do you want to be a hero?" Ais asked

"Well, it might be plain but I just want to help people out, I want to be everyone's hero. I want to be someone people can rely one, including you Ais! I want to be your hero!" Bell said

Ais was shocked, all this time she had waiting for someone to call a hero, she remembered her father's words, "one day you will find a hero, and at that moment you will be willing to spend the rest of your life with your hero".

"All this time, I've been trying to get stronger that I failed to realize my hero was right in front of me, I just need to reach out" Ais thought

"Then Bell, would you please be my hero, forever?" Ais asked

"Of course! Just call me and I'll be there to help you out! I promise to protect you" Bell said, what he hadn't noticed was that Ais was blushing at his words

"H..Hey B..Bell b..before you g..go to the d..dungeon do you w..want to w..watch the s..sunrise?" Ais asked

"Sure!" Bell said before following

AN: I wanted Bell to be a little more confident, while Ais was a little more shy towards Bell. This was a suggestion by BigChuggs .BTW I hope this matches your suggestion
