The Princess's Knight Part 2

Ais POV
It was morning, I could see the sun shining through. Then I remembered, I kissed Bell! I thought it was a dream! But I remember how real it was, I ran to my room because of how embarrassing it was.

"Hey Ais, food is ready!" A voice called out

"Okay mom! I'll be out soon" Ais said before getting up

Ais went downstairs and saw that it was only her mom and dad. Where was Bell? Was he still asleep?

"Hey mom, dad where is Bell?" Ais asked

"Bell went out to take care of something, he said it was important" Albert said

"He'll be back soon dear, let's go eat so we can wait for him" Aria said with a smile. Ais sat down and started to eat with her parents

Albert POV
I should hurry up and check on Bell. But he said he can handle it, but knowing Bell he said that because he doesn't want us to worry.

"I'm gonna go check on Bell, I'll be right back" Albert said getting up while grabbing his sword

"Dad, can I come!" Ais asked

"Sorry, but I think I need to do this myself. Take care of your mother while I'm gone" Albert said

"Oh okay, Stay safe dad, and please find Bell" Ais said

"Don't worry, I'll find him. After all he still has to answer your confession from yesterday" Albert teased

"Y..You heard it?!" Ais asked in embarrassment

"Of course I did, I even asked Bell about it" Albert said

"What did he say?" Ais asked

"Well, you'll have to ask him yourself. I'm going now" Albert said rushing outside the castle

Bell POV
I asked sensei if I could do some patrolling, I ended up finding some Evilus members lurking around the boarders of the city. I wasted no time and instantly froze them to death, they don't deserve mercy. I continued to find more smaller groups of petty thugs, I ended up arresting them and giving them to the other knights.

"Hey Bell" A voice called out

"Hi sensei" Bell said with a small wave

"You should come home, Ais is worried" Albert said walking up to Bell

"Yeah, I'm just finishing up patrol for the day" Bell said

"Anything interesting?" Albert asked

"Well, there were some Evilus Members but I killed them" Bell said. His tone changed once he mentioned the word evilus

"Bell, you need to control yourself. Don't become what they wanted you to be" Albert said to Bell

"I'm sorry sensei, but they don't deserve mercy" Bell said

"Bell I know you have some history with them, but please don't go that far. Not for me, but for Ais" Albert pleaded

"Okay, I'll show some control" Bell said as he sighed in defeat. I guess he really did have a weak spot for Ais

"Thanks Bell, now let's go back. Ais is worried for you" Albert said

"Oh? Not so fast King Albert!" A voice called out

"Sensei, stand back. Let me handle him" Bell said stepping in front of Albert

"Oh what a surprise, your still alive Bell" the voice called out, "I barely recognized you"

"Am I suppose to know you?" Bell asked while clenching his fist

"Of course you are, you're not going to greet your old man?" The voice said stepping out of the shadows

"Cole" Bell said with venom

"Hahah Bell, it's good to see that you're alive, now come give your old man a hug" Cole said walking closer to Bell

"No, you killed mom" Bell said getting ready to punch his father

"Now Bell, you shouldn't talk about family matters out in the open. We have guest" Cole said while signaling at Albert

"Sensei, please go back home and take Ais and Miss Aria away from here" Bell said

"But Bell, you need to come with us" Albert said while trying to grab Bell's shoulder

"Sorry sensei, this is something I must do on my own. Now go! You still have a family to take care of" Bell shouted

"Bell, you better return to us" Albert said before running back home. He wanted to help out but he knew that Bell wouldn't stop until he faced it himself

"What a bummer, you didn't kill your target" Cole said in disappointment, "you were supposed to kill him, boy"

"I stopped killing for you! I gave up on that after sensei gave me what I was missing" Bell retaliated, "he gave me a family! Something that I missed. I won't just stand around and watch you take them away from me"

"You know I can't let you go Bell, you were the perfect killing machine and Albert just had to go and waste your opportunity" Cole said while taking out a sword of his own

"Opportunity!? How is killing people for money an opportunity for me! I have a duty to the king. If you seek out to harm the royal family" Bell said taking out his sword, "then I must eliminate you"

"Oh Bell, you really think protecting others are gonna change the fact that you have murdered hundreds?" Cole said with a smirk, "I'll give you one last chance, come with me boy"

"No! I know were I stand, I'll fight until my very last breath" Bell said, "I will stop you here, you will never hurt anyone again"

Bell dashed at Cole only to see that his father had dodged it easily, Cole ran up to Bell and kicked him in his sides

"Don't underestimate me boy" Cole said, "it will be your last mistake if you do"

Bell got back up and got in his stance. He dashed at Cole again only to attack again, only to be attacked from the back

"Come on boy, show me the ice you had inherited from your mother" Cole demanded, "what happened to the cold blooded killer in you? Maybe I'll bring it out, who should I start with. The king? The queen? Or possibly your princess?"

"You won't let you touch any of them" Bell said beneath his breath

"Speak up boy"

"I said, you won't let you touch any of them!" Bell screamed while running at his father. Cole attempted to attack Bell again, only to see that his weapon shattered upon contact. Bell touched the blade of his sword and chanted a short spell

"Awaken Glacier! Lend me your power!" Bell said, the sword had begun to glow, radiating off the blade was a cold mist.

"Father, say hello to Erebus for me in the afterlife" Bell said in a cold tone, Bell dashed at his father making small cuts around his body

Bell had the upper hand since Cole was disarmed, but that didn't stop him. Cole desperately needed another weapon, he knew it was the end. But he still needed to fulfill his mission.

"I won't stop here boy! If I'm going down, I'm taking you with me!" Cole rushed at Bell getting ready to end it with his elemental magic, but Bell wasn't going to give up now. With one swift chant Cole was frozen in place. Bell finished it off by breaking the frozen person in front of him, the ice shattered everywhere only leaving chunks of ice on the floor.

Bell heard a roar in the distance, it was coming from the castle. He sheathed his sword and ran off to the castle

"Please, please let me make it in time" Bell thought
