Sophia took a deep breath exhaling slowly before opening her eyes to look at herself in the mirror. She dapped her nose once more watching as the red finally stopped dribbling out. After rinsing the crimson down the restroom sink, she wiped everything down and tried to straighten herself out. She barely could stand today but knew that Luca had back to back meetings today. She ran her fingers through the wig once more and huffed before turning to the door heading back to her desk.

She has now made it through 6 of her chemo treatments. The first ones didn't effect her so much but these last two have really started to wear on her. She had tried to hide her exhaustion but Luca had caught on each time. He constantly asked her if she was okay which she would always confirm but her treatment yesterday wiped her clean. When she woke up this morning, Luca practically demanded she stay home and only relented when she said she would only manage her desk and not do the meetings. He still didn't want her to but she left him little choice stating she was going to come in with or without his permission.

Sophia turns her attention to the elevator finding Taylor stepping out. A beautiful smile lit her face until her eyes fell on Sophia. Her face contorting to worry as she stepped to her. Sophia was standing by her desk and wobbling slightly. She tried forcing a smile but it was weak all the same. Feeling dizzy, she began to tip but Taylor wrapped an arm around her waist balancing her.

"Soph? Hey! What's wrong?"

Sophia goes to answer but feels her eyes roll backwards and her whole body gives out suddenly. Taylor quickly gripping her as best as she could holding her up while moving to get her chair behind the desk. It takes a moment and many grunts but she gets her in the chair where she is still collapsed. She is quick to check her pulse finding a very low heart rate. She is quick to react reaching for the phone calling 911. She then calls Sam at the front desk letting him know where to the send them once they arrive. She turns back to Sophia trying to move her head so she can get a better view of her face.

Taylor is terrified at how ghostly she has become. Sophia had not only lost color but lost more weight which is saying a lot since she was already small. Her cheeks were slightly sunken in and her collar bones were visible. It was a shell of the girl she met those months ago. Jessica had come back to work a few weeks back after finding an excellent day care for Destiny. Taylor had sadly not got to see as much of the red head beauty as she would like. This was the first time in a few weeks she had got to come up to visit her. Mr. Sanford had practically stolen away her from everyone. She couldn't be too upset, she knew that both Sophia and the boss had fallen deeply for each other and were in the honeymoon faze. She continued holding her friend's face before cursing under her breath. She quickly calls Jessica.

"Sophia?"

"Jess, it's me. Get up here."

"Taylor, where's Soph?"

"Jessica, get up here now." She doesn't wait for a reply and hangs up. A soft whimper leaving Sophia making her eyes snap to hers. "Soph- Can you hear me?"

She doesn't make any further sound making her concern grow ten fold. She doesn't have to wait long for the elevator doors to ding and fast steps are heard to her.

"Sophia!" Jessica comes taking over cradling her sister's face trying to shake her slightly awake. "Sophia, wake up sis. Please open your eyes."

Her voice coming out shaky as Taylor could tell her tears were barely being held back. A minute passes and Sophia's desks rings. Taylor snaps back reaching for it as Sam lets her know that the paramedics are on their way up. She hangs up after giving a soft thank you. The elevator opens again and two men in uniform rush over to the woman.
