A week ago today was Derry High's prom, a week ago Stanley Uris and Bill Denbrough kissed for the first.

Bill was wakened up by Stanley snuggling into his side as the phone was ringing. He smiled as memories flooded into his brain.

"Come on Stan we got to go!" Bill yelled from the bottom of the Uris's staircase waiting for his friend to be done getting dress. Happy that he didn't stutter.

"Coming." He heard a faint shout come from the bathroom. Stan quickly walked out of the bathroom and started to come down the stairs. Bill immediately felt the heat rise in his face at the sight of Stanley.

He wore tan slacks with a light blue shirt, with a white tie, birds printed on. Stan smiled slightly at Bill as he reached the last step. "I'm ready, big Bill." Bill quickly snapped out of his daze and smiled.

Stanley and Bill entered the gym music blasting, teens dancing all around. The beginning of More than a feeling by Boston played.

"Stan, Bill over here," Eddie shouted from the dance floor, Ben and Mike dancing around together. The two boys walked over to the group. They all began to be in deep conversation but didn't last long as the group wanted to dance.

They all began to smile, as Richie would say 'their jam came on'. They all started to dance along to the beat. Stan and Bill left the group leaving Eddie, Mike, and Ben to dance alone.

"Yuh-yuh-you enjoying yuh-yuh-yuh-yourself Stan?"

"Of course, glad you made me come to this pointless event." Stan smirked, causing Bill to laugh. The sound warmed Stanly's heart hearing Bill laugh. It can take a lot to make Bill laugh sometimes, he doesn't always feel happy, considering his parents fight a lot. It grew worse though once Georgie died.

"I'm glad." Stanley smiled, happy that Bill's getting better at not stuttering.

The two boys continued to dance. But the world around Stanley seemed too slow. Suddenly hearing voices. Voices the don't leave his head often. The voice of It, saying words that Stanley despises.

A zombified Bill filled Stanley's vision. "You're just a fucking f@ggOt."

"A fl@mer." 'Richie' screamed, into his ear. Causing the jewish boy to jump.

"A disappointment." 'Donald Uris' whispered.

"Stop it." Stan whispered, grabbing his head.

"Just a stupid worthless jew." 'Henry Bowers' told him, playing with his switchblade.

"Stop it."

"An annoying obsessive prick." 'Eddie' yelled.

"STOP IT!" Stanley screamed, tears filling his eyes. All of those words filling his mind. "BILL! BILL! HELP!"

Tears were spilling over his eyes, his breath uneven. His body feeling petrified. He started feeling arms around him. Causing even more panic to rise in him.

"Stan. Stan. Stanley?" Stan quickly blinked. Starting to see Bill, Eddie, Ben, and Mike in front of his body. Their faces filled with concern and panic.

He was gasping now, trying to catch a breath. Tears still falling down his face, making his cheek tear-stained. No matter what the other losers did Stan wasn't responding.

He saw Bill's mouth moving but not hearing any of the words. Stan felt an arm around him and then movement in his feet. Bill carefully pulled Stanley outside, wanting to get away from the crowd of staring people, in hopes of calming Stanley down. Bill slowly sat both of them down onto the ground. The music is still clearly heard.

Stanley continued to cry softly. Bill began to rub circles onto his back, hoping to relive some of his anxiety. Slowly Stan's sobs weren't heard anymore but Bill left his hand on Stan's back.

After a few minutes, Bill broke the silence. "Do yuh-you want tuh-tuh-to talk?" The curly hair boy didn't answer right away but began to nod his head.

"We were dancing to the song but it was as if the world around me was starting to slow down. I started hearing these voices." Stanley started to sob slightly again.

"Take yuh-your time."

Stan nodded. "These voices I'll hear sometimes. And it's usually just a reminder of It." Bill patted the other teens back. Showing him to continue. "You guys, Henry, m-my dad began to yell at me. I was so scared Bill." He started to cry harder. Bill quickly grabbed Stan and wrapped his arms around his body.

Bill slowly started to rub his hand up and down his arm. The other rubbing his back. "It's going to b-b-b-be okay I'm h-h-here. I won't judge."

Stan nodded his head against Bill's chest. He began to calm down. The two pulled away slightly but still had their faces close to one another.

Their faces both started to turn into a deep red color. Not realizing they both were leaning in slightly. Their noses brushing against each other slightly. Bill being confident closed the gap between the two, their lips lightly touching each other. Stan kissing back,  wanting to show Bill he was okay.

The two teen boys quickly separated, leaning their foreheads against each other. They both smiled, happy they finally know they have feelings for each other. Stan kissing Bill quickly again.

"Guess this really is more than a feeling." Stan said earning a laugh from Bill.

Bill rubbed Stanley's back. Bill smiled yet again, at Stanley. Stan's been staying at Bill's house for the last two days, the voices have been worse.

Bill groaned as his phone still was ringing.

"Wuh-wuh-what?" Bill answered into the phone.

"Bill?"

"Rich? Wuh-what is it?" Bill yawned and rubbed his eyes.

"Well," Richie paused and took a heavy breath. "I'm coming home."
