Hopper smirked as he walked into Joyce's work. "Alright, emotions have been shared, the boundaries have been made, order has been restored." Joyce looked at Hopper extremely happy.

"Oh my god, it worked!"

"Uh, this is the first day in six long and excruciating months that they will not be seeing each other! Yes! I think it fucking worked!" Joyce started to giggle and clap her hands trying to celebrate Hoppers 'victory'. "Oh stop that," Hopper says trying to act bashful. "This was all you Joyce. I'm basically the puppet you're the master."

Joyce smiles at him. "So you remembered everything?" Hopper nods and laughs answering yes. He walks towards her and sits down.

"I did have to do some improvising. But it turns out getting to Mike was the key." Joyce starts to roll her eyes and cross her arms in front of her chest.

"Did you yell at him?" Hopper sighs and shifts his eyes up towards Joyce.

"Well, actually I was thinking about talking about this over dinner at Enzo's at seven o'clock." His eyes widen slightly realizing what he said and immediately gets up from his seat. "But before you think about it just know this isn't a date."

"Hold on a date? Uh, we didn't say anything about a date."

"Oh yeah, uh I know. I didn't say anything about a date. I just wanted to make sure it was clear on your part."

Joyce rolls her eyes playfully. "Well, there isn't any confusion."

"Okay well, this is just going to be a friend kind of thing and we just have dinner. We've definitely earned it."

"Well, I can't be out that late."

"Well, then I'll have you home by nine."Joyce shakes her head saying she needs to be home earlier. "Fine then at eight-thirty, I can even pick you up."

"I'll meet you there." Their conversation ends as Hopper's radio starts to go off.

"Sorry, Joyce got to go. You know duty calls." Hopper starts walking towards the doors but he trips slightly over some fallen magnets. "Clean up on aisle five." Joyce looks confused as he leaves and she starts to walk down the store aisle.

She kneels seeing all of the magnets now were on the floor. She grabs one and begins putting it back. But it immediately falls to the ground. Joyce's eyebrow furrow in bewilderment as she continues to try and get them to stick.

Nancy walks in on Jonathan working, him getting frustrated immediately. "Oh, come on Nancy the light!" Nancy ignores him and grabs onto his arm.

They both make their way outside heading to Jonathan's car. "Nancy are you sure about this? It's just I don't think this is the best idea."

"Really Jonathan? Because I think this is the best idea I have had all fucking summer." Nancy says as she opens the car door.

"Look all I'm saying Nancy, is there's no harm in asking."

"Well, the harm in asking is Tom will say no. We ask for forgiveness, not permission. And bedside's if this story is as good as I think it's going to be Tom won't care. In fact, he's going to thank us."
