Y/N POV

It took me a moment before my body snapped into action. Sprinting through the doorway and out into the busy hall.

"Levi!" I could see his dark head of hair ahead of few cadets in front of me. Pushing them to the side and almost tripping over my own feet I slam into Levi's back.

"What did I just say Y/N?!" Spinning around, I was now held against his chest as he glared down at me.

"You can't go, you can't leave us-"

Levi's eyes quickly panned down to my arms and then back up to my eyes, he looked shocked.

"Are you insane?!" Picking me up by my waist and throwing me over his shoulder, he pushed his way through the cadets, back to our bedroom.

"We have a newborn and your leaving her unattended, Y/N you just left her!" Levi had kicked in the door.

"I'm sorry! I didn't mean it, I just, you made me so worried. Please don't go!" I was unaware that I was pounding my fists into his back as I kicked against his hold.

Flinging me over his shoulder he sets me down into his office chair. Pinning my wrists down onto the arms of the chair with his hands, his hold was tight almost uncomfortably.

"Keep your voice down, she needs her rest." Levi's eyes panned to the side, to hint at the sleeping infant.

"You don't need to worry about me. I'm perfectly capable. And quite frankly Y/N, this is long over due. I should have slit his throat the night you came stumbling back past my door. I just knew something was off, the way you flinched, the way you were stumbling. Your shirt, it was torn...." his eyes fell from mine as his grip loosened.

"The contents in the letter alone is enough to take him down.... I need..... Y/N this isn't about you anymore. He brought MY children into it. Being their father I can't let such a thing go unpunished." Levi pulled his hands from my wrists allowing me to finally break free, to jump up out of the chair to wrap my arms around him.

I could feel his body relax at my touch as he released a deep breath.

"Y/N, I wanted to wait to have this discussion until a later time but it doesn't seem that time is in my favor with this one." Levi's hand found the back of my head as he stoked my hair lightly.

"What is it?" Pulling back to look back up into his worrisome eyes.

"I can fill you in on the details of the mission later, besides it is a little ways away. But here are the basics, Hange will be sending me away to babysit that errr... furball. We need to keep him under our surveillance. And there's no better place to do that then in the tall trees where there are no boulders, and nowhere for him to escape to, surrounded by scouts." Levis hand stopped stroking my hair as he watched me take in the news.

Staring blankly at him I respond with a simple "No."

Levi's eyebrows pin together as he looks at me in confusion.
