"Room now!" Levi gave Kaneki a light push on the back in the direction of the bedroom.

"And don't even think about waking your sister up, I'll be in there after I fill your mother in and our meeting." Levi's tone was stern and demanding, the tone he took with the cadets.

Kanekis clothes were a bit torn up and out of place, his hair was a mess, where as it normally laid nicely like his fathers. His cheek bones was a bright shade of pink, and his lip was bleeding.

Eyes shooting wide open I slam my hands down onto the desk pushing myself upwards.

"What happened to you? Are you okay Kaneki?" Worried I came around the desk and over to his side, reaching my hand out to touch his arm but he quickly slapped it away.

He continued to look down at the ground in a glare. Levi's hand came up to give him a light smack on the back of the head.

"Hey your mother asked you something, don't disrespect her by ignoring her. Answer her now." Levi's tone was harsh, he was clearly upset.

Kaneki continued to glare down at the ground for another moment as my eyes met Levis, my eyebrows raised in worry. He only closed his eyes and shook his head in disappointment.

"I got into a fight." Kaneki had pulled his eyes from the ground and was now glaring at me.

"A fig-

"Kaneki! Wipe that look off your face right this second, what did your mother do to deserve that kind of treatment, fix it.... now!" Levi had cut me off, bringing his hand to the back of Kanekis neck, he gives it a light squeeze.

Kaneki took a deep breath while he closed his eyes.

"Sorry, I got into a fight because of Maya." Kaneki was glaring back at his father as his grip remained tight on his neck.

"'Maya? The cooks daughter?" My eyebrows pulled together in confusion as I looked up at Levi for reassurance. His eyebrow raised as he shook his head yes, before squeezing at Kaneki's neck once more.

"And." Levi pressed on.

"I started it." Kaneki eyes dropped to the floor from glaring at Levi. He knew he was in the wrong the very second he admitted it.

"Room now." Pointing in the direction of the bedroom.

"Bu-"

"Now Kaneki! You heard your father, do not wake your sister." Bringing my hand up to smack my forehead.

Kaneki quickly runs into the bedroom leaving me and Levi alone.

"Walk with me?" Levi was headed to the door holding his hand out for me to take. Ever since he had gotten word about his babysitting duty over Zeke things had gotten much more hectic around the base.

I did my best to stay up to date in all the affairs and the logistics of the war against Marley. Things had grown, complicated.

Rize being so young required one of the two of us to always be at her side, it made it near impossible for me to carry out my duties as a Captain, but somehow like always, Levi found a way around it making everything work.

Almost skipping forward I quickly intertwine my fingers with his, bringing my other hand up to hold onto his arm as he guided us through the busy hallways.

"We need to speak with Hange, so I apologize we couldn't do this back in our room. But this needs our immediate attention with Kaneki, he can't be lashing out like this on the base." Levi's eyes remained locked forward as he continued to push past cadets, pulling me along behind him keeping a tight hold on my hand.
