Loki woke up first and he didn't want to move. After everything from the night before, he knew the fragile spot Y/N would be in even though she would play it off as no big deal. He had been there before but had no one to help him through it. He started getting lost in thought about what she could possibly have experienced to look the way she did in her nightmare, along with the fact that she gave up her former life to perform such a strong spell to stop the monster from doing what he had planned. Loki knew this monster and what he is capable of, but Loki gave into him while Y/N fought against him with every last fiber of her being. Then he thought about that spell, Frigga had told him that that spell was taboo and to only be used under extreme circumstances.

"What are you?" Loki whispers. She nuzzles closer to Loki in her sleep and they are still entangled together. A huge part of Loki didn't want her to remember what had happened to her but he wanted her uncertainty to go away as well. He looked at her clock and it was 10:30 in the morning, meaning she has gotten about 9 hours of sleep. This was including the sleep she got before waking up. "Little Assassin." Loki got her to open her eyes a little and immediately she jumped back, embarrassed that she slept so close to him. Loki couldn't help but chuckle.

"Are you laughing at me? I take that as a challenge Fancy Pants." She said looking at him sternly.

"Oh do you?" Loki smirked and got out of her bed. "This coming from the girl who trapped me here in her sleep." Loki couldn't help but tease her. She shot out of bed and pointed at him.

"Alright, that's it! You and me right now!" Y/N did not want to seem weak anymore. She hated being that way even though all she really wanted right now was to still be held. She had slept for a long period of time with absolutely no nightmares for the first time since she was 9.

"It'll be fine Little Assassin you are not weak." She looked at Loki wide eyed and immediately covered her forehead.

"What are you doing?"

"Stop reading my mind!"

"I didn't read your mind Little Assassin."

"Then how did you..." Suddenly it hit her. She remembered how Loki said that he had been on that rock before and how worried and scared he looked. Loki must feel this way constantly, which is why they handled things so similarily.

"How did I what Little Assassin?"

"Nevermind. Anyways, you still helping me get my memories back or what?"

"If it's what you want to do."

"It is. Wait here." She goes to her closet and grabs the suit Tony made her and went to the bathroom. She changed into it and got ready. When she came out Loki had changed back into his regular clothes. "We first need to talk to Tony."

They walk out after Y/N made sure that the coast was clear. Then they go up to where Tony's lab was and sure enough he was up, hung over, and working on the bracelets for Y/N. Tony looks up and smirks.

"Morning Witch Hunter. I'm flattered that you like your suit so much." He says as both Loki and Y/N walk up to him.

"Do you have a device that can help tap into memories?" Y/N asks looking Tony dead in the eye. Tony sighs and pushes himself back in his chair, wheeling it over to a drawer.

"I do but it's no where near ready to be used. All I have is a design and an idea." Tony turns to them showing his design. Y/N sighs a little defeated. "Why the interest in it?"

"I have been having nightmares. Loki and I have concluded that they are flashes of my memories." She was very frank about it. Tony then looked back and forth between the two that stood in front him. Loki kept looking at Y/N with grave concern.

"Let me guess, you want to dive into your mind for your memories." Tony was being sarcastic as he put his design away. "Something's are better not remembering. Like Capsicle. Life would totally be better without remembering him."

"Look, those memories are part of who I am too. And they could have information about dangers that could threaten the entire planet." Y/N was determined but Tony kept looking at Loki who didn't break his concerned gaze from her.

"What are your thoughts Reindeer Games? Because if these flashes of memories are coming across as nightmares, they cannot be any good." Loki turned to Tony. Loki's face was stoic while Tony's was skeptical of Y/N's sudden need to want her memories back. 17 years of living her life and now she suddenly wants to go hunting for memories?

"I actually agree with you Stark but this is not my choice to make." Loki said and turned his back to both of them and walked to the other end of the lab. Y/N wasn't shocked by his answer since he warned her the other night but she was appreciative that Loki wasn't ignoring what she wanted. Her gaze never left Tony as he turns to look at her and sighs.

"Well if you really want to, you may want to talk to Father and Director of the year." Tony turned back to the bracelets. Y/N looked down at the floor and then back up.

"We aren't exactly on speaking terms." She said crossing her arms. Tony chuckled.

"Well find a way to get on speaking terms." He replied. Loki was listening to everything as Y/N glared at the wall. "What did he do that made you so angry?"

"Are you observing us in training today?" She asked completely ignoring Tony's question.

"Yes." Tony realized he wasn't going to get a straight answer from her right now.

"Can we go now?" As soon as she asked she started walking out the door. Loki stayed behind and turned to Tony.

"She ok?" Tony asked.

"Not in the slightest." Loki responded. Though it started rocky, Loki and Tony have come to a understanding with each other. Especially when it came to Y/N who was around only for a short amount of time.

"You think getting her memories will help?"

"Again... not in the slightest."

"Should we talk her out of it?"

"I warned her that she may not want her memories back and so have you Stark. She is refusing to listen." Loki looks in the direction that Y/N stormed out of as Tony sighed and walked up to Loki.

"Reindeer Games, why is she so angry with Fury?"

"He told her she wasn't ready to save anyone, considering her past... it hurt her." Part of what Loki said was mumbled but Tony heard it all.

"Then Fury isn't that smart." Loki looked up at Tony. "I read her file." Tony led Loki to his computer and pulled up her file. Loki started skimming through it.

"What are we looking at?"

"Her life as an agent. Because of her work in HYDRA she was able to save a couple soldiers and stop them from kidnapping more children to do experiments on. Not to mention the drug lords and hostile leaders she has killed. She is a total killer but she has saved many lives by doing so." Then Tony clicked a video and it was clips of Y/N fighting and saving people. Then Tony clicked a different video and it was of her screaming in pain and losing control over her powers. She had killed agents who were just trying to calm her down. At the end of the clip the despair in her eyes... you could see her decision to shove everything down right there. "This must be why Fury agreed to let you be here so easily. Not to mention this little tid bit on Lilah Coulson. She only sees herself as a killer. I know what I said but she is clearly more than that."

"Tell me something I don't know Stark." Loki stared at everything "Coulson.... no wonder she tried to kill me when she first saw me." Tony looked at Loki.

"I shared what I know. Tell me what you know."

"I promised I wouldn't" Loki looked over everything. "Besides... you now know about Lilah. So you know what I know." Tony patted Loki's shoulder and sighed.

"We better convince her to talk to Fury and work on training." Tony said defeated.

"Change of heart Stark?"

"No but the Witch Hunter is not going to stop. So if we are going to do this we have to start with Fury." Loki nodded and walked out with Tony to the training room.
