Chapter 35: And So She Is Heart Broken Again

Y/N is in Loki's room on Asgard and it felt like she had been there for days. She felt happy and at peace. Loki then walked in and she ran to him. Loki wrapped his arms around her waist as he lifted her and spun her around. Loki kissed her tenderly on her lips and smiled.

"I was only gone a couple hours darling." Loki said with a smile.

"I know but that's too long!" She nuzzled into his chest. "Why can't you just stay here all the time?" Loki chuckled at that.

"I don't think I remember you being this clingy my Little Assassin." She grabbed Loki's arm as she moved to the bed. As her back hit the mattress she pulled him down on top of her. Loki smiled as he brushed the hair from her face. He then traced the scar on her eye.

"Are you complaining that I'm showing you love?" She then took his hand and kissed it. "This wasn't your fault."

"I wasn't there to protect you. I should've been..." Loki said. "Please... when you wake up... go to Asgard."

"What do you mean when I wake up?" She asked. Loki looked at her.

"You do know that you are asleep... right? That this is in your head." Her face drops as flashes of Sokovia entered her mind. Tears were streaming down her face.

"I don't want it to end..." She said. Then everything went black.

She jumped awake and in a panic. Medical equipment started beeping and she frantically started pulling the wires off of her.

"Hey hey hey Witch Hunter take it easy!" Tony shouted putting a hand on her shoulder.

"Where's Loki?! Where am I?!" She was confused and tears were starting to form.

"You have been in a coma for 2 weeks. We moved to the compound instead of the tower. You are safe." Tony's voice was comforting and she looked up seeing that he had set up a mini lab.

"What is all this?"

"Had to make sure that you were good before I left." Tony said as she looked at him. "I'm gunna hang up the helmet for a while. Basically be the CEO of the Avengers. I made a bad call with Ultron. I don't want to make another one."

"I get it..." Y/N smiled sadly at him. "Definitely will make Pepper happy."

"She's thrilled." They chuckle and Tony sighs. "About your hallucination... what can I do to help you?"

"I don't know..." She put her face in her hands.

"How about I help you find a place that's not on the compound?" Her eyes widened and she looked at Tony. "This way you have a place to be where there are no memories of Loki. It may help with moving on."

"Loki was never on the compound."

"True but we all did live together. If you break away a little it may be good for you." Tony suggested. Y/N nodded and sighed.

"You're right. But how about I try staying here first... I want to help Wanda a little with her powers." Tony smiled.

"If that's what you want to do. But if your hallucinations get worse I'm helping you find a place."

"If they get worse I will go to Mykonos." She said.

"Then I will have an excuse to visit Greece." Tony says. She smiles and gets up without issues. "You good?"

"Not moving for two weeks must have helped the healing process." She stretched and then winced. "Still sore though. Hey can you help me with something? Is Thor still here?"
