A Not So Planned Vacation Day

(Daytime, Dojima Residence)

the doorbell rang at the Dojima residence, surprising both Yu and Nanako, Nanako got up from her spot in front of the T.V. following Yu towards the door, as he opened the door, he saw Chie there

"hey, if you're free today, wanna go somewhere, Yukiko's coming too, she's currently helping Sakiya with Amaya, don't be alarmed, but she's not a morning person and tends to snap at people who wake her up", Chie explained with a small laugh, "how 'bout you, Nanako-Chan, wanna come",

"u-um...", Nanako thought, unsure of what to say

'come with us", Yu asked

"huh, I-I can come", Nanako asked

"of course you can", Chie stated making Nanako smile as the three headed out.

(Morning, Junes)

the Junes food court wasn't busy, and Yosuke had finished his work so he was sitting down with the others, everyone was talking with each other, with the exception of Amaya who seemed to be sleeping, as Chie, Yu, and Nanako arrived, the group greeted them which woke up Amaya

"told you not to stay up too late", Sakiya teased

"it wasn't my fault the book I was reading was good, next thing I know, it's four in the morning and I'm finished with the story", Amaya muttered, a small hint of anger in her voice due to her being tired causing the others to chuckle

"why'd you bring poor Nanako-Chan to a place like this on Golden Week", Yosuke asked

"where else is there to go", Chie asked back

"I love Junes", Nanako stated, shocking Yosuke, yet making him happy at the same time, "but we were supposed to go on a real trip somewhere, we were supposed to make boxed lunches",

"wow, you can make boxed lunches, Nanako-Chan", Yukiko asked, but Nanako shook her head and looked at Yu

"oh, so you're the family cook, pretty impressive, "big bro", Chie said

"big... bro", Nanako asked

"I'm a pretty good cook too, you know... probably", Chie said

"uhh, lemme think about... no", Yosuke said, bluntly, earning a glare from Chie

"what makes you think I can't cook, let's have a cook-off and see for ourselves", Chie asked in anger

"my, my, doth the lady protest too much, and hey, I never said I cooked, but I have this weird feeling... like I'd win anyway", Yosuke stated, "here, Nanako-Chan can be our judge, I bet we'll make something that ranks up there with your mom's cooking, Nanako-Chan",

"I don't have a mom, she died in an accident", Nanako said, surprising everyone

"I-I see, um... sorry, I didn't know", Yosuke said

"it's okay, even if I don't have a mom, I have dad with me... and now I have a brother, too, and I'm having a lot of fun today, I love Junes", Nanako stated with a smile

"we'll play with you anytime you want, Nanako-Chan", Chie reassured

"yeah, we should hang out more often", Yukiko stated

"we agree", both Amaya and Sakiya said in unison, making Nanako smile

"c'mon, Nanako-Chan, let's go get a soda", Yosuke said as both he and Nanako walked away from the group to get drinks

"she's a strong girl", Yukiko said

"yeah, she makes me feel like I'm the little kid here", Chie stated, "that's it, I'm gonna go get something for Nanako-Chan too",

"I'll come with you", Yukiko said

"me three", Sakiya said as the three girls got up and left

"and we've been abandoned", Amaya stated with a laugh, "hey, if I was a bit snappy, sorry, if Chie didn't tell you already, I'm not a morning person",

"yeah, she told me, and it's ok", Yu said

"it was really nice of you to bring Nanako-Chan, I can tell she's having a good time", Amaya said

"Chie technically invited her, I then asked her to come, I didn't want her to be by herself all day", Yu stated

"by the looks of it, we could all possibly plan another day like this again and bring Nanako-Chan along as well", Amaya said with a smile

"I think she'll like that", Yu said with a smile as well as Nanako ran up to the two

"do you want something too", Nanako asked, Yu nodded his head and got up, yet, he stood there for a bit

"go on, I'll catch up with sis and the others", Amaya stated with a smile

"why don't you come with us", Nanako asked

"wouldn't you rather hang out with Yu", Amaya asked, curiously

"no one left behind, come on", Nanako stated with a smile, running up to Amaya and pulling her up, out of her seat, causing her to laugh as then the three walked around Junes.
