"He's already eaten, try and get him to sleep by 9, and just don't burn my house down." Hotch looked between you and Spencer. "That's mostly directed at Y/L/N."

"Hey!" Spencer snickered, making you elbow him.

"Ouch," he grumbled, rubbing his arm.

"I can't decide if Jack or you two need a babysitter more."

"We are very responsible." You crossed your arms. "Right, Spencer?"

"Right."

Hotch exhaled. "The one day I'm out with Beth is the day literally the entire rest of the team is out."

"I'm never anywhere," Spencer piped in.

"Me either. As Rossi put it, we have no lives."

"Woo."

Hotch rubbed his forehead. "Just don't do anything stupid."

"Sir, yes, sir." You saluted him.

"I'll be back later."

"Have fun!" Hotch glared at you. "That was not meant to be sexual at all."

"You just made it sexual," Spencer mumbled.

"Shut up."

"Goodbye." Hotch shut the door, leaving you two with Jack.

"Jack, hi!" You turned around, the boy looking up at you from his colouring books.

"Hi."

"What are you drawing?"

"Spider man."

"Woah!" Spencer walked over, sitting down on the couch behind him. "That's so cool."

"You guys should get web shooters for the team."

"What do you think, Spence?"

"Genius."

"Do you guys like Spider-Man?"

You and Spencer were silent. "Uh I've never seen it," you muttered.

"Me either."

Jack returned to colouring. "Emily loves it." You and Spencer looked at each other awkwardly.

"Soooooo...what do you wanna do?"

The boy shrugged. "I dunno."

"Do you like to read?" Spencer asked.

"Yeah!"

You could see how excited Spencer got. "I brought some books!"

"Any comics?"

His face fell, making you burst into laughter. "What's so funny?"

"Dr. Reid isn't exactly a comic book fan."

"They're awesome."

"Redundant," Spencer murmured as you kicked him. "Hey!"

"Uh...do you like TV?"

"Yeah."

"What shows?" Jack began listing random shows neither of you had ever heard of. "Have you heard of Keeping Up with the Kardashians?"

"Oh my god, Y/N. We can't show him that."

"It's educational!"

"On what? Sex tapes and being rich?"

"Two excellent things—"

"What are those?" Jack asked, making you both turn pale.

"NOTHING!"
