Summary: Reader and Spencer are stuck in a small town after getting delayed by snow on Christmas but find a way to make it a little better.

You exhaled, watching as the time on your phone went from 23:59 to 00:00. "Merry Christmas."

Spencer looked up from the seat across from you, everyone else asleep. "Merry Christmas, Y/N."

"Not exactly how I thought it would go."

"Me either," he sighed.

"I promised my sister I'd come home and see her."

He frowned. "I'm sorry."

You shook your head. "It doesn't matter."

"My mom was hoping I'd come too."

You knew very well of Diana's condition, only worsening the ache in your stomach. "Sorry, Spence."

"I'll make it up to her."

"How so?" You shifted the solemn conversation.

"Her doctors think she could go on a trip or something this summer, I was kind of thinking Paris. Is that absurd?"

"Not at all, I think it's a great idea."

"That's why I wanted to see her at Christmas...give her the tickets."

"You'll get a chance."

"I know, it just...I've never missed Christmas with her, even if we were far apart we always spoke somehow."

"Me too."

"And now I'm spending it on an airplane back home."

"We'll be home by midday..."

"Weather conditions slow our arrival until the early evening, unless we get delayed."

As if on cue, the copilot stepped into the jet. "Agent Hotchner."

Hotch sat up, rubbing his eyes. "Hm?"

"We have a slight problem...there's a large storm in DC."

Hotch closed his eyes, letting out a sigh. "How long of a delay?"

"We suspect it could be all day."

The team glanced at each other, solemn expressions all over their faces. "Do what you have to do."

"Yes, sir."

You looked at Spencer. "I think you jinxed us."

"I definitely did."

"It looks like we're a few hours from Quantico, if you want to drive back, it should get you home by 11 am."

"That's an 11 hour drive..." JJ looked hesitant.

"Snow," Tara replied.

"It's the only way to get home by then. If you don't want to, stay in the area."

JJ got up. "I'm going."

"Me too," Rossi chimed in. "Joy is here."

"So will I," Hotch said.

"Same here." Tara got her bag.

"Savannah's waiting for me." Derek stood up.

"Reid? L/N?"

"I get anxious driving in snow, I think I'm good here."

"I'll stay with her," Spencer said.

"Alright, tell us when you get back."

"Have a nice drive, guys."

They all waved, getting off the jet and leaving you and Spencer. "It's Christmas, and we're now all alone in a remote town in Virginia."
