It didn't take long for Hyunjin to come back with Hongjoong. Hongjoong looked around, smiling dearly at his fellow crewmates. He knew this would end horribly for him, but if he could get his crew to sail again, it was worth it. "Oh, look who we have here," Minho noticed, just barely avoiding a punch from Seonghwa. "Where did you leave Y/N? Are you sure it's okay to leave her?" he continued, trying to get him agitated. "No worries. She's not leaving on her own, she can't, and San wouldn't let her go alone. So she's safe from all danger."

All danger, Minho laughed. The only danger here was these guys. Hyunjin growled annoyed, throwing a punch at Hongjoong. Just when Hyunjin finally thought he had some more freedom, Minho showed up again. He was starting to get fed up with it. He had been living quietly all his life, was he really going to keep on like this? There was no way. Finally something had changed, he wasn't going to let that chance get away.

"Listen up, I won't fight you, on one condition," Hyunjin irritatedly whispered at Hongjoong, who seemed quite interested in the proposal. "Finish odd Minho for me, and I'll let you have her. I'll find another girl to be interested in for sure, I just want him out of the way." Hongjoongs head tilted like a puppy. "Can you really arrange that? You don't look like you're all that powerful here."

Though Hongjoong wasn't being sarcastic but genuinely amused by it, Hyunjin got ticked off even more. Of course he knew he wasn't all that powerful here. He barely had anything, that's exactly why he wanted to get rid of Minho. Of course he wouldn't be glad about Y/N leaving, but for now that didn't matter to him at all. His eyes were clouded with his hate for Minho. "Just wait and see how powerful I can be."

Hongjoong wasn't one to back down from a challenge. In fact, he was rather drawn to them, it always gave him the thrills. Though he wasn't quite sure of whether he could really trust Hyunjin, it did sound intruiging. "Fine, I'll keep up my end of the promise, if you hold up yours." Hyunjin agreed with a smirk on his face. Maybe, just maybe, things would still go his way after all.

Or so he had hoped, but failed. Rather than the all-powerful Hongjoong he had wished for, he had thought he was, Hongjoong couldn't do much but avoid all Minho's moves. It wasn't hard to see Hongjoong was struggling terribly, that he was in pain, though Hyunjin barely seemed to care about it. He was just annoyed at Hongjoong, close to mad even. Why would he even pretend to be all that much if he could barely do a thing?

Minho managed to hit Hongjoong, exactly in the wrong spot. Right in his stomach, the exact place where he got his wound. Hongjoong growled in pain, feeling awfully frustrated at himself. What kind of leader was he if he couldn't even protect the others. He glanced around, seeing everyone fight so hard for their lives, yet here he was, on the ground. Hongjoong couldn't help but laugh miserably.

"Bad idea, ignoring your opponent," Minho laughed, hitting Hongjoong again. Blood came out of his mouth, tears streaming from his face, the saddest smile on his face. He already knew that he wouldn't be able to do much, but this was all he could. His eyes felt heavy, his heartbeat slowly fading. "Hongjoong!" he heard San's voice yelling at him desperately. Ah, he thought, he came after all... he couldn't help but appreciate it, though it was all that he didn't want. He wanted them to be free, so why were they still here for him?

Now he still hadn't fulfilled his duty, even at his dying breath...

----------

"Hongjoong!" San yelled out as we had reached the others. I couldn't help but gasp, tears falling up in my eyes. I could see Minho on top of him, pressing his foot on Hongjoongs stomach. His wound! "Minho, stop!" I yelled at him, running up without thinking, San following right behind. Minho, as well as the others, looked up surprised, both to see me and at my reaction. Within an instant I pushed him off Hongjoong, but it was too late. All eyes were now focussed on Hongjoong. His helpless body solely lying down.

That's when something snapped in me. I didn't know why I cared so much, but I did. "Are you all happy now?" I screamed out. "Did you really have to go that far?" Minho tried to excuse himself. "I didn't think that he-" he started, but I didn't care anymore. He killed someone. They were all fighting again. All they did was fight, but now... it had gone way too far.

I ran off, not caring if anyone would follow. Even if I couldn't go home, as long as I could get away from everyone, that was all I needed. The ship, I had to find the ship. I finally saw it in front of me. I ran towards it as fast as I could, but I couldn't, as someone forcefully grabbed my shoulder. San to be exact. "You can't leave. You can't," he shouted, his eyes red from crying. "Why, wasn't that what he wanted? For you guys to leave? Then let's do this, I don't care anymore!"

San slapped me. Not hard, but it stung, making me snap out of my daze. "If you leave on that ship, you'll die too! Is that what you want?" Die... too? No, I didn't want to die. It terrified me. I couldn't get anything out while San continued. "I don't even care about getting away anymore, I just don't want anyone else to die... You were never going to survive anyways, the only reason on why he needed you on the ship was for your blood, the sacrifice needed to stay on sail, so go back with the other's, stay here on land, I don't care. Just don't go on the ship."

Ah... so in the end, everyone just ended up using me.
