First meeting gone wrong

A/n: before you read the story, I just want to say that, I don't hate anyone, it's just a story :)

Y/n's POV

I am so nervous today, you know why? because I am about to meet my girlfriend's four best friends. Lauren Jauregui has been my girlfriend since 2015, I supported her when she entered X-factor, when she told me that she got put in the girl group, I was happy for her, then something terrible happened. You see I was on my way to watch her first performance with the girls, but I never made it because my parents and I got into a terrible accident, we all survived only I couldn't talk straight anymore, every time I tried to say something I would end up stuttering, Lauren was really sad about it. After three years of speech therapy, I was not getting any better so I gave up and decided not to talk anymore, instead I started learning sign language. I thought Lauren was gonna leave me after I gave up but no she stayed with me, her words were, "I'm never gonna leave you, I love you so much baby girl, it's you and I forever". Our relationship was hidden in the celebrity world, I told Lauren before that when I'm ready then she can tell everyone which she agreed to, the only people that knew about our relationship were our family, and our friends.

After six years, Lauren finally convinced me to meet her band mates so here we are now, in front of the dressing room, "baby, don't worry ok?, they are gonna love you besides they are all super nice" Lauren tells me while cupping my face, I took a deep breath and nodded my head, "ok" I said which made her smile, she would try to get me to talk some more, she learned sign language so she would understand what I say to hear, she also told me that one of her band mate name Camila is also from Miami only we never saw her. She gives me a quick kiss then we enter the dressing room, "hey girls, I want you to meet someone" she says, I look around and see three girls, the African American one was on her phone, the other with the blonde hair was laying down on the couch throwing small rolled up paper in the trash, while the other was standing by the snack table, eating a banana. Soon they all stood in front of us which made me cuddle Lauren, Lauren wrapped her arms around my waist and says, "this is Normani, Dinah and Camila, there's also Ally but I believe she's getting dressed, and girls this is Y/n, my girlfriend", I looked at them and said, "hi", they smiled and said Hi back, suddenly one of the crew members walked in and told Lauren to get ready so she told me to hang out with the girls then she left, once as the door closed, I turned back to the girls and see them glaring at me which made me uncomfortable.

"How long have you and Lauren been together?" says Normani, I tried my best to answer but all I said was, "s-six", "you better not be with her just for the fame" says Dinah, "n-nev" I got cut off, "she probably is since she stuttering, listen I had my eyes on Lauren for two years now and I'm not about to let you take her away from me" says Camila, I didn't know what to do, I would answer them in sign language but I don't think none of them will understand, so my mouth would open and closed like a fish out of water, my eyes were getting watery until suddenly the door opens again and I see another lady walking in with a smile on her face, "hi, Lauren told me that her girlfriend was here, I'm Ally" she says as she pulls me in for a hug, she pulled away when she heard me sniff, "are you ok sweetie?" she asked, I cleared my throat and nodded my head, with the look on her face, I could tell that she didn't believe me. She looked at the girls and shouted, "WHAT DID YOU DO?!", "nothing" said Dinah as she laid back down on the could, then the door opens again and in comes Lauren, she smiled at me but quickly faded when she saw tears coming down my cheeks, "baby?! what's wrong? what happened?" she asked as she pulled my into her arms, I just cried silently, then I pulled away and looked at her, "you told me that they were nice but they're not---they think I'm with you just for the fame---and Camila said that she had her eyes on you for two years and that she's not gonna let me take you away from her--it was a mistake even coming here---I'm sorry but I'm leaving" I told her in sign language, we never keep anything from each other, "no, don't go babe, please stay, stay with me" she says with tears in her eyes, I just shook my head, "love you" I whispered without stuttering then I gave her a kiss then left the dressing room.
