A/N: in this chapter everyone are friends, so there's no exes or hate between them.

"Are you fucking serious right now?...you know what? Fine if you don't want to be with me, I'll find someone who will" yelled Lauren. "I'm sorry babe, I love you and all, but it's just the way you get when it comes to things like this, you sometimes take it too far" I said calmly. Every summer, Our families would put together a little scavenger hunt, and Lauren would do whatever it takes just to win, last year we teamed up and I broke my wrist, and all she said was "suck it up, and move it" hahaha.

This year I had chosen to team up with Luis, I didn't tell Lauren until now, and as you can see, She didn't take it to well. "I don't take it to far" she defended herself. I smiled, She never liked it when I'm right. So I walked up to her and wrap my arms around her waist, She looks up to me and I say "babe, I broke my wrist last year because you pushed me over a ten foot wall instead of taking the stairs, and on top of all that you landed on me like I'm a freaking mattress".

Lauren giggled a little then she said "it's not my fault, the people in front of us was taking their sweet ass time", "babe that person was trying to help a 75 year old woman go down the stairs, we've could just went around them" I said. "Ok, ok so I do get a little carried away, but I can't help myself" she whined. "That's what I love about about you babe, you never back down" I said.

Lauren looked at me and smiled. "Are you sure you don't want to be on my side?" She asked, I accidentally shuddered in front of her which caused her to glare at me and started walking out the door. "Babe, I'm sorry" I laughed. She turned around "Oh you will be sorry" she said as she slowly walks towards me which made me walk back until I hit the wall. "You'll be sorry that you never picked me when I win tomorrow with My partner" she said huskily.

"Mmm, your threat is turning me on, but just know that I will share my winnings with you" I said as I closed the gap between us. Lauren growled and pushed me away then walked away, I giggled and followed her. We went in her room where she grabbed a pillow and blanket and gave it to me. "Have fun sleeping on the couch tonight" she said, I laughed and said "alright but I need something first". She looks at me confused, then I grabbed the back of her neck and pulled her into a passionate kiss. She moaned quietly when I inserted my tongue in her mouth and explored. I pulled away and bit her good night before closing the door.

The next day, it was nice and sunny, everybody were at the park, getting ready for the race. I'll tell you who's teamed up:
Dinah and Normani
Ally and Troy
Camila and Shawn
Luis and I
We were all just waiting for Lauren to show up. "Yo where is your girlfriend? The game was suppose to start 10 minutes ago" said Dinah, "chill, She said she's almost here" I told her. Just then her car is pulls up, "finally!" shouted dinah. Lauren gets out of the car with Brad.

Luis snorts, " she actually thinks Brad is the best? " he whispered in my ear, and I laughed. "Alright, now that everyone is here...everyone to the starting line" said Mike. Luis and I did our handshake, then I see Lauren glaring at me. "You are going down" she signals at me, I smirked and blew her a kiss. Then I look at Brad and said "have fun Brad and be careful", once again Lauren glares at me.

"Ok! Here are your first clues" said Alejandro as he gave us a card. "Now you can't read it until Y/F/N blows the horn" he said. Soon my father raised the bullhorn in the air, everyone got into position. Then horn blew, all of us started running to our
cars. "To tell you the truth y/n/n, I'm kinda scared of what Lauren would do to us if we win" said Luis, we looked at each other then we laughed and took off.

~~~~~Two hours later into the game~~~~~

So far Luis and I are ahead followed by Dinah and Normani, then Lauren and Brad. We are now at the park getting our last clue, when we heard shouting. I looked to my right and I see Lauren basically dragging Brad towards us, Luis and I stiffened our laugh and continued to read the clue. "God! Can you go any slower?! , we could've been here early if you hadn't stop for a squirrel!" shouted Lauren, I looked at Brad and saw that he had leaves and twigs in his hair, with a couple of scratches on his face. "Let me guess...shortcut?" I asked, he nodded while trying to catch his breath.

I laughed and left the park to our final destination. A few minutes on the road, we hear cars screeching, I look behind and see Lauren speeding our way. "Dude Drive! She's behind us" I shouted, Luis stepped on the gas. I looked behind us again and didn't see her. "Oh god that was close" I sighed in relief, then I hear a car honk on my side so I looked and see Lauren blowing me a kiss. I glared at her before I told Luis to go even faster.

Soon we were head to head towards the finish line. I looked at Lauren again and she was smirking. Brad on the other hand was screaming his head off, I looked at her confused, "what is she doing?" asked Luis, "I don't know, I can't tell" I said. Luis looked on my side to see what she was doing, Suddenly he said "shit! She's gonna ram us!".

I widen my eyes and looked back at Lauren, I know she was only going to scare us but we were doing 80 miles per hour. So I shook my head to her, telling her not to do it. But she just smirked at me. Soon she turn her car towards us, Luis quickly turned his, which made the car roll, Suddenly everything went dark.

I woke up to a bright light, I blinked a couple times to adjust to the light. Once I did, I looked around, turns out that I was in the hospital. I look down at my body, and see a cast on my leg. Suddenly I hear the door open, so I looked that way and see Lauren coming in. She hasn't notice that I was awake so I closed my eyes and pretended to sleep, suddenly I feel her take my hand, then she says "I'm sorry babe, it's all my fault, you wouldn't be here if I didn't try to scare you, you're right I guess I do take it too far".

"Finally, you admit it" I said as I opened my eyes to look at her. She quickly looks at me, "you're awake!" She says, She quickly attacks me with a hug. " Ow, ow, babe" I said, She quickly pulls away, "I'm sorry, did I hurt you?" She asked, looking concern. "No, I'm just a little sore, how's Luis?" I asked.

"He's fine, just a bump on the head, plus I owe him a car" she said. I started to laugh and she looked at me funny, "what's funny?" she asked. " I wasn't even on your team yet I still got hurt" I said, we both start laughing. "I really am sorry babe" she said, I smiled and gave her a kiss, "it's ok, so who won?" I asked. "Dinah and Normani, they get to go on a trip to Aspen" she said.

"I think I'm gonna pass on the scavenger hunt next year" I said, "same here, mostly because no one wants to team up with me anymore" she said. I just laughed while she pouted, "I'm sorry, come here baby, cuddle with me" I said as I opened my arms. She smiled and immediately climbed into my arms, we enjoyed the silence for awhile until she spoke, "can you please team up with me next year? I promise I won't take things to far" she gave me the cutest puppy eyes. "Ugh, fine but if I get injured again...I will walk out of the race and head home..got it?" I said.

She gulp and nodded. I smiled and said "Come on, let's go to sleep, I'm tired still" she gave me a chaste kiss and put her head on my chest. I closed my eyes and said "I love you so much my sweet and loving Competitor". Then we both drifted off to sleep.
