Lauren's POV

"MATE!!!"

       Midnight suddenly yelled while jumping around in my head, man she was gorgegous, "I-I'm so sorry to barge in Alpha and Luna" she says as she bowed to us, just when I was about to protest, I remembered that I was still on top of Camila, "shit" i said as I quickly got off of her then I looked back to my mate and said "um, ca-can you give us a minutes please?" I see her glare at Camila but quickly shook out of it, "of course" she says, "we're not gonna do anything I promise" I blurted out before she close the door but I saw a small smile on her face. Once the door closed I squealed in excitement while Camz was looking at me weirdly, then I quickly grabbed her shirt and threw it her, "put that back on" I told her, "what's gotten into you Lo?" she asked once she put her shirt back on, "She's my mate Camz, She's here" I said excitedly as I fixed my hair, Camila looked shocked then she said, "what pack is she from?" that's when I stopped what I was doing, I knew that she was not in any of the pack that I went so there was only one pack that I think that she was from which made me cringe, "she must be from the Red Moon Pack, damn it!" I said, I hated that pack because they was think that they are better than everyone, especially the Alpha's son Bradley, he's a fucking bitch who acts tough but really he's a coward.

         I snapped out of my thoughts when I felt Camila's arms wrapped around my torso, "you know you can always reject her" she whispers, I quickly got out of her grasp and turned towards her, "so you want me to die? is that it? because that's what's gonna happen if I reject my mate Camz!" I told her,  I was getting pissed off so Camz quickly apologized, I pushed her out of the way and sat down on my desk then I linked Malik to let her come in now. Camila stood by my side as my mate walked back in, "I'm so sorry to interrupt your uh..thing?..but I came here to tell you that The Red Moon Pack are planning a war against you at the end of the month" she says as she continue to bow at me, I looked at her confused, why is she ratting out her own pack? I thought, "I don't think she's from that pack, she doesn't smell like them" said Midnight which was true because they usually smell all musky, "may I ask how you know this?" I asked, she nodded her head and said "my father, Y/f/n Y/l/n, told me to go to their meeting to see what was going on, I learned that the new Alpha is Bradley Simpson, at first he was talking about peace than he started talking about his pack were better than yours and he wanted to have a war with you to prove that they are, I quickly ran back to my father after that" she said then she took a deep breath and said "my father tried to talk Brad out of it but instead Brad and a couple of his fighters beat him up, he came home with his face bleeding and he told me to come tell you so here I am" she said.

     I could tell that she was pissed off so I told Camz to leave us alone, once she left the office I stood up from my desk and walked around it, "who are you and where are you from?" I asked, she looked up at me then she rolled up her shirt on her right arm and showed me her brand, I gasped when I see the tattoo of the Triple Moon, the symbol of the Moon Goddess herself, "my name is Y/n, I'm from the Triple Moon Pack....my family were betrayed by the Reed Pack when I was 6 years old so we decided to leave and that's when the Moon Goddess herself gave us her symbol and create the Triple Moon Pack, she trained me herself and now we are known as advisors for all pack since we can blend in with every pack we set our foot on" she says, and I was fascinated by it, suddenly I hugged her, feeling the sparks ignite throughout my body suddenly she hugged back which made me smile big. Then all of a sudden she pushed my away which took me by surprise, "what are you doing? you're engaged to be married with...whoever that girl was" she says, just when I was about to say something, she quickly ran out the door, "wait!!" i shouted as I ran after her.

Y/N POV

I can't believe I was mated with Alpha Jauregui herself, and she was already engaged to someone else, tears were starting to form in my eyes, I didn't want her to see it so I had no choice but to run out of her office. I could hear her call after me but I ignored her and ran as fast as I could to my car. Once I got in the car, I started up and put it in drive, "Y/n wait!, let me explain please!" shouted Alpha Jauregui as she ran towards me, but I quickly pressed on the gas as speeded out of there. "what are you doing?! go back to our mate!" shouted Snowy, "she's engaged Snowy to someone else, I can't get in between that!" I shouted back, she didn't reply back instead she whimpered. As I drove farther away from my mate, I started to have a discomfort pain in my chest, I knew that it was because I was away for my mate, and eventually I will become really ill and so will she but right now I didn't care because I was already heart-broken. Once I arrived back home, the pain started to feel like a thousand needles poking my heart, I was starting breath raspedly, I got out of the car, took a deep breath, put on a smile and walked inside, Luckily my parents were not in the living room so I quickly walked up to my room and locked myself in there. I mind-link my dad, telling him that I delivered the message to the Alpha, I laid in bed and groaned as the pain got even worse, "you need to go back to our mate Y/n, please" said Snowy, but my stubbornness won't let me so I just stayed in bed, tried my best to ignore the pain and fell asleep.
