Lauren's POV

"Hey? It's gonna be good ok? I know she's gonna love it" said Ashley aka Halsey. We were getting ready to sing her song "Strangers" at the music rewards. But that's not what I'm nervous about, I'm about to confess my feelings for a certain person who means a lot to me. You see a year ago, I met a beautiful girl name Y/N at the park. Even though I was with Brad back then, I started having an affair with her for six months. One day while we were in the middle of making out, she asked me a question which lead to ending our affair.

Flashback

"Laur...hold up I gotta ask you something first" said y/n, so I pulled away from her neck and gave her my attention. "Are we ever gonna become official?" She asked. I sighed as I got off of her, she sat up and looked at me, " that's not gonna happen y/n, I still love Brad, I can't break his heart" I said, when I looked at her, she was looking down playing with her fingers. I slowly grabbed her hand and said "you know I really care about you, but what we have is just a fling". She pulled away and whispered, "I think we should put an end to this then" then she got up, grabbed her things and headed to the door, I quickly stood up, I grabbed her wrist and said "wait, why?", She looked at me, with watery eyes and said "because I fell for you, and knowing that I'm just a fling, really hurts". I didn't expect for her to say that to me, but I let go of her and said "I'm sorry". She left the house and never saw her again.

End flashback

Ever since she left, I started to miss her so much, I guess what they said is true "you never knew you had until you lose it". I realized that I was in love in her so I tried calling her and texting her but she wouldn't respond back. I also tried talking to her in person too, but she wouldn't listen to me. I realized that I hurt her so bad, which broke my heart. I broke up with Brad two months ago and I'm here to win her back, I just hope she'll give me another chance. "Halsey! Lauren! Get ready you're on in two minutes" said her manager. "you can do this" said Halsey, she gave a me a hug and ran on stage while I went to my position. Soon the music started playing and Halsey started to sing

[Halsey:]

I was still looking at her, and I see her smile a little which warmed my heart.

Once the song was done, everyone cheered loudly. I looked at Halsey and she gave me a nod, so I took a deep breath and spoke in the microphone. "Everyone, I have something to say" everyone went quiet. "I just want tell everyone that I'm in love with someone, three months ago I made a mistake by letting her go, I thought if I let her go, my feelings for her would go away, but it didn't, instead it grew more and more. Yes y/n, I've been in love with you ever since I met you, and I was afraid to admit it. I'm so sorry for hurting you, I hope that you would forgive me and give me another chance to call you mine for real this time" once I was done, I looked at y/n, and smiled with tears in her eyes. Then she jumped on stage and ran to me. People started cheering when she jumped on me wrapping her legs around my waist and hugged me. I wrapped arms around her waist as we cried, we finally pulled apart and kissed with so much love. She pulled away once again and said "guess this means we're not strangers anymore" I smiled and said "nope, we are lovers". She smiled and said "I love you" , "I love you more baby girl" then we kissed once more, and walked off stage hand in hand.
