Evania was making her way across the campus with a book tucked under her arm. She ended up stepping off the path to make her way towards her reading place on a bench facing the river on the north side of the campus. She found herself laying on the bench, using her bag as a pillow and reading as she usually did when Sylvia was busy with her council things.

She didn't want to sit in her dorm room moping that she didn't have anyone to hang out with at this time. So she figured a little sunlight and fresh air would do her good.

Usually people let her be, and she would find herself reading for hours until Sylvia came and picked her up.

Today was not that day.

"Excuse me?" Called a voice. Evania looked up, thinking it was Sylvia's voice calling to her. Even looking at her she thought it was, as the woman looked almost exactly like her, except she had bright blue eyes instead of the violet that her succubus did. Otherwise she was the spitting image of her girlfriend. If only slightly older.

She was wearing what was basically a powder blue suit with a white shirt on. Something much more formal than anything that Sylvia would wear, yet it still suited her perfectly.

Evania sat up a little nervously, not knowing if this was supposed to be a joke or something.

The woman continued. "My name is Gwen, and I was separated from my daughters on the campus here and don't know where I'm going. I happened to wander this way and am hoping you might be able to help me find them?"

She introduced herself as someone else, so maybe the appearance isn't intentional?

You alright Treasure? You got a little nervous there? Sylvia's voice called in her head.

I'm okay. Someone startled me. I'll let you know if I need you. Evania answered.

Alrighty.

Evania smiled nervously at the woman before closing her book as she went to start signing before lowering her hands realizing that she would have to use her thoughts since the woman wasn't Sylvia.

"Oh! I'm sorry!" Gwen shook her head before signing "I'm sorry" like she had done so a thousand times. She continued her conversation in sign. "I didn't realize you were deaf, I'm so sorry."

Evania blinked like she was having Deja vu. "I'm not deaf, I just can't speak. Magic in my voice." Evania explained.

"Oh. I'm sorry again for assuming."

"You know sign language? Why?"

"One of my daughters is deaf." Gwen answered with a smile.

Evania blinked again before standing up. "Is your name short for something else?"

"Indeed, why do you ask?"

"You're Guinevere, aren't you? Sylvia's mother?"

The woman tilted her head curiously before an all too familiar smile spread across her lips. "You know my Sylvie?"

"MOM!" Another familiar voice yelled. "I turned my back for five seconds!"

Evania and Gwen turned as Sol and Mani sprinted over with Mani moving to step up beside Evania as if to support her if she needed to. Evania appreciated the gesture, and subconsciously took a step back as if she was preparing to hide behind her.

The twins may not have been her Sylvia, but they made her feel almost as safe as she did.

"What do you mean you turned your back? The two of you left me behind." Gwen rolled her eyes playfully as Sol groaned and prodded her mother in the chest with narrowed eyes.
