"How hard do you think it's going to be to run the school?" Evania asked Sylvia as they made their way towards her mother's office.

"I mean, it can't be worse than running a Kingdom right?" The succubus shrugged.

"You never ran a Kingdom Sylvia." Evania narrowed her eyes at the succubus who chuckled a bit. "You were too busy being a Princess."

"I had a lot of duties at the Princess. I had to keep up appearances, while also learning how to run a Kingdom so I could in the future. I also totally had to sleep around 'cuz that's a Princess's duty!"

"Only when they're actually a succubus." Evania rolled her eyes.

"I'm pretty sure I was totally just a normal Princess. No other factors involved."

"Right." Evania rolled her eyes. "You didn't really answer my question."

"Of course it's going to be hard to run a school Treasure. But you're going to have a bunch of people who are ready and willing to help you every step of the way. Plus, even if you're mom retires and you're not ready, you don't have to take over the school then and there. The Board of Directors is already willing to take over until your ready."

"Yeah, but what if I'm never ready?"

"Isirona mentioned to me that they were prepared to have you join as the headmaster and slowly take over the tasks you're supposed to do while they handle the rest. That way you could be slowly introduced to your responsibilities without being completely overrun. Between Nyx and Isirona you're not really going to have anything to worry about. Isirona has always been for the most part in charge of a school standing right beside a headmaster, and Nyx grew up before schools were a thing." Sylvia shrugged. "I think no matter what happens, you're going to be fine."

Evania stopped walking, getting Sylvia to pause and turn to look at her curiously, before noticing the expression on her face.

"Treasure?"

Evania inhaled deeply, before looking up at Sylvia, her eyes filled with nervousness and sadness. "I..." She started, but couldn't seem to find the words she was looking for, even as she looked at the person she thought she could tell anything to.

"Treasure, nothing you say changes how you feel. We don't have to rush into this." Sylvia offered, holding out a hand towards Evania as she smiled brightly. "We have however long we need to decide and there's nothing forcing you to step into your mother's shoes. Your destiny is your own to control, take it from me."

"After we speak to my mother, will you come with me to the infirmary?"

The smile on Sylvia's face vanished. "Are you okay? Are you sick?"

Evania finally exhaled the breath she had taken and Sylvia stepped forward, placing her hands on the vampire's face as she examined her, looking for a sign to this sickness. "You don't look any paler than usual, I didn't notice anything was off. Are you sure you're feeling unwell? You don't seem like it."

Evania gently took her wrists and managed a soft smile. "I feel fine. I feel better than I ever have. But..."

"But?...Are you pregnant? Impossible! I would-OWOWOWOWOW!"

Sylvia winced as the vampire squeezed her wrists, threatening to break them before easing her grip, getting Sylvia to gasp a bit.

"I'm not pregnant." Evania growled before sighing again. "Before I was turned, I was very sick... I wanted to know if I still was..."

Sylvia blinked up at her. "What? Why? You seem fine to me."

"Because the organ suffering from cancer isn't really something an undead vampire needs."
