09 an unbreakable curse: healing blood

  *The order of the chapters had been switched as you may have noticed originally I was gonna fix it but then I realized that I was too busy to do so(─.─||）I apologize for the inconvenience.

It was unapparent how much time had passed or when he had fallen asleep but when he came to he heard an eunuch announcing " The emperor his majesty has arrived." Without giving Qian Tao time to react the emperor was already inside his room.

When Qian Tao saw the emperor he quickly got out of the bed he had got into in his dazed state and bowed his head in greeting. The emperor "mn rise." Qian Tao then rose to his feet the emperor signaled him to come over sit at the table.

When Qian Tao sat down the emperor asked "how was concubines day today?"

Qian Tao sighed " Tiring"

Emperor " did you eat your lunch?"

Qian Tao " I forgot your highness."

Emperor " mmmn how did you heal concubine Qian Bai? We are  sure she had took in the no cure poison that has taken many lives without any survivors."

Qian Tao paused for a while and looked at his hands rather sorrowfully. A while passed like this and just when the emperor was about to give up Qian Tao spoke up "My blood." The emperor looked confusedly at him. Seeing this Qian Tao decided to explain fully since from his observations the emperor was an honest and trustworthy man plus the fact that he had tried to save his life before was forever in graved in his heart.

" My blood can heal any illness and poison in this world.......... I also had this ability in my first life and I find it perculiar that I would receive the same ability twice! This is really too unlucky!!!" The emperor wore a stupefied expression on his face seeing his face Qian Tao couldn't help but chuckle after a while the emperor schooled his face and asked " so you saved her life using your blood how foolish." Qian Tao shook his head and replied " actually I was just testing if my blood still works besides that amount of blood should keep her alive for max three months."

The emperor asked " so it's incurable ?"

Qian Tao lazily responded " with both my blood and medic skills the poison will be neutralized"

The emperor just hummed in response after a while servants came in and placed a lot of pastries on the table. Qian Tao was blinded at the sight of all the delicious food infront of him. " Let us eat." Commented the emperor while picking up his chopsticks.

As Qian Tao was obediently eating he couldn't help but slow down in gobbling up his food and steal glances at the emperor ' why isn't he angry about me not completely healing one of his wives?' seeming to have sensed his gaze the emperor put down his food and stared at Qian Tao with a rather curious gaze. "Are We that handsome that concubine Qian Tao can't keep his eyes off Us?"

Qian Tao almost vomited blood from hearing his shameless words, he coughed for a while and finally spoke " N-nothing of sorts your majesty. It's just....... Is his highness not interested in why I don't want to heal concubine Qian Bai?" The emperor looked at him with a neither cold or warm gaze but it was still piecing. Qian Tao then remembered that the emperor did not like to be questioned about his actions.

He immediately got up to kneel but the emperor stopped him halfway " There is no need to kneel. Qian Tao sat down but still gave the emperor a look that resembled one of a dog waiting for it's master to give it treats. ' cute.'

thought the emperor he did not even try to throw the thought off because the one before him right now was truly too adorable. Being satisfied with his own thoughts the emperor spoke again "We do not care for what you do." Qian Tao went quiet when the emperor saw this he added " We have no right to judge you nor do We have the right to condemn your choices after all We cannot understand what you have gone through as an individual."

" Besides we do not care for those concubines." Qian Tao was touched by his words but was rather curious about his last sentence and asked " Your majesty do you not care for any of us as your concubines?"
