Chapter 2 - WandaVision Ep 5

On set for Wandavision
Lizzie POV

Today on set we're filming the 80's episode and I'm absolutely in love with how the crew made the set, it reminds me of little parts of my childhood, especially these amazing outfits we have on.

Wanda wears this simple outfit for most of the episode and I love that even though it's retro, it's still quite modern.

I walk onto the set as Kathryn walks up to me with her iconic smile, "Hey superstar how you holding up?" She asks me poking my side playfully.

"I'm having so much fun exploring this new era of Wanda, I guess growing up as a 80's child all these little details on set is brining back memories" I say happily.

"Well I'm glad your having fun hun" she says smiling warmly at me, just then the director yells it's time to get ready for the first scene.

*end of the day*

Today was so much fun, everyone on set is just amazing, and I find it so much more fun having Paul here to make me laugh on and off camera, my anxiety would usually kick in once the cameras are off at how there's so many people there, but having someone I know so well and I'm close with helps a lot.

I'm currently getting changed into my normal clothes in my trailer when there's a knock at the door, "come in" I shout as I tie my hair up in a messy bun.

I can hear the door open and shut then followed by some footsteps coming into the bathroom where I am, I smile at the mirror when I see Scarlett standing behind me resting her head on my shoulder.

"You ready to go?" She asks as I start to pack away the last few of my things.

"Yup, let's go" I smile at her as we head out to her car since she's picking me up before we go to her house for a girls night since Robbie is out of town until tomorrow.

"So, how was it?" She asks as we get into the car.

"It was super fun getting some of these scenes done today, especially with the boys and the little dog, we had to do so many retakes because they kept laughing every time the dog would like their faces, it was very cute" I tell her with huge smile on my face.

"That does sound fun, I'm glad you had a good time, how were you when the camera were off?" She asks knowing about my social anxiety, after all she is my Bestfriend.

"You'll be proud of me, not once did I feel overwhelmed or anxious, it was all thanks to Paul and Kathryn of course for keeping me laughing but I did pretty well might I say" I share feeling confident with myself.

"Wow I am proud of you, I'm glad you have them on set but I'm also glad your starting to take control over it all, you know I worry about you" she shares and I smile.

"I know and I love you for it" I say and squeeze her arm gently showing I do appreciate her, she smiles in return.

After a the little drive of us just blasting music and signing are hearts out we eventually pull up to her house, as soon as I close the car door I feel a pair of small arms crash into me and hug my legs tight.

"Hi pumpkin" I coo down to my niece Rose who smiles up at me. I swear she gets cuter every time I see her.

"Auntie Lizzie are you here for girls night?" She asks me cutely as I pick her up into my arms.

"Yes I am, are you excited?" I ask her as I walk us into the house.

She nods her head eagerly and has the most adorable smile on her face, I look over and see Scarlett smiling at us.

We go inside and set up movies and popcorn and bring out some nail sets going for the full girls night package, Colin stayed up in their room giving us some space bless him.

A few romcoms and several nail colour changes later it was time I head back home.

"Oh before I forget Chris is having a huge party for his birthday like a huge huge party, he gave me your invitation, here I was suppose to give you it ages ago" Scarlett says handing me the envelope.

I smile at the fancy invitation with gold and white text, "wow Evans really going all out for this one" I laugh slipping it into my bag as the girls walk me to the door.

"Yeah well he wanted to be extra I guess, considering this is the last year he can probably lie saying that he's in his early 30's" Scarlett says making me laugh.

They both give me tight hugs and kisses on the cheek, and watch me get into my Uber and head home.
