Chapter 25 - This smile on my face

Lizzie POV

I wake up in an unfamiliar room, my throat is dry and scratchy probably from the endless sobbing last night.

That's when I remember where I am, I slowly open my eyes to a large sun lit room and look at either side of me to see both my sisters laying down with their heads at my feet.

They stayed with me like they said they would, as I take in my surroundings and remember last night vividly I can't help but let my heart tighten at the reminder of the man I love hurting me the way he did.

But enough crying over him, he's not worth it and beside today is a very special someone's birthday.

Which reminds me that I get to hangout with a certain someone again today as well, that thought alone has made me feel better.

I glance at the nightstand and subtly reach over without waking MK on my side to grab my phone.

I check the time to see it's 9:48 am, I remember Y/N telling me she always wakes up at 8 since she likes to go for a run with her dogs every morning so I know she's up.
