Hamilton Manor
Y/N POVShe's on my side.
That's all I ever needed to hear, knowing she'll still be here no matter what I wanted to do, it makes me fall in love with her more and more.
I hold her in my arms just a tad longer than expected, but soaking in this moment of being close to her is exactly what I needed.
Being stuck in therapy and having to deal with Mr Happy Time without her today kinda sucked.
I didn't realise how dependent I am of her.
But the way she keep snuggling in closer to me makes me think she's just the same.
"I missed you today" I mumble against her neck causing her to giggle and shift a little.
She then pulls back from my hold whilst looking at me, playing with the baby hairs on the back of my neck.
"I missed you too" She says before kissing me softly, making my heart flutter in my chest.
"What were you going to ask me by the way?" I ask remembering she wanted to tell me something as we pull away from each other.
She quickly clears her throat and shifts her gaze down "Just about what you're wanting to do, and how much it scares me" She admits quietly, her voice sounding so small it makes my heart tighten.
I never ever want to put my family through something like this again.
Especially now I have Lizzie, I could never leave her like that again.
"If it will make you feel better, you could always come to training with me? To see how things will be different" I suggest, hoping I could find some way to ease her mind, knowing she's the type of person to want to double check and make sure of things before moving on.
She looks back up to meet my eyes and takes a brief moment to think before nodding her head slightly.
"What does this training mean? Like is it your normal routine or do you have to go through a whole new process?" She asks curiously and honestly I hadn't really thought that far.
I'm still scared out of my kind to be in a regular car let alone my F1 car.
This process might take a lot longer than expected.
I sigh a drop my head forward until it lands on her shoulder.
My skin heats up when she starts combing her hand through my hair like she use to.
I want things back to normal, but I know that can't be exactly true anymore, I just have to adapt to things.
"I take it you didn't think of that part?" She questions as I nod against her shoulder.
She laughs a little making me smile at the amazing sound.
I sigh before pulling my head back up to look at her.
She smiles instantly when I meet her eyes, making me smile too.
"I think I just have to call Max and see what we can do from there" I brainstorm quickly and watch as she nods along.
"I uh...I also think I need to get over something first" I say a little hesitantly.
She tilts her head a little at me as I clear my throat "I need to drive again, I need to take control over the stupid fear, and starting formula 1 training won't do that" I rush out with slight frustration building up.
"So we'll start slow, we'll go at your pace and try it out in an empty car park or something" She suggests easily making me relax my tense shoulders knowing I have her by my side like she said.
