Chapter 57 - Little traitor

Lizzie POV

After having our real time talk, where we let the emotions and feelings out, I think I'm feeling way better about it all.

I was almost terrified before, but hearing that Y/N was as well brought some sort of comfort to me, and of course her reassuring words only made me feel more sure about my feelings for her.

I mean seriously how can I not like this girl, she makes me feel so happy and safe all the time.

And to continue off with this good mood, we decided to go get dinner at our favourite diner.

"You cheated!" I exclaim smiling wide with gasp.

"How the hell did I cheat in snap?!" She laughs as she collects both our piles of playing cards.

We decided to bring the fur babies as well since I liked having them with us so much the last time, and just like before Hades sits on my side whilst the little gentlemen Zeus sits beside his mama.

I roll my eyes playfully as she shuffles out a new deck each whilst we wait for our food.

I take this moment to ask her something more serious.

"Have you talked to your parents yet?" I ask cautiously and watch as she falters a little when shuffling the cards.

"Uh no...I haven't, do you think I should?" She asks handing me my deck of cards as she looks at me.

"I think you should do whatever your comfortable with, It's just I know how important family is to you and wanted to make sure you were ok?" I say being careful with my words.

"Your right, and I should probably go talk to them tomorrow" She sighs out, clearly this brought her mood down and I mentally slap myself for ruining the happy moment.

"Hey" I call out softly as I reach over and take her hand in mine.

"Sorry I brought the mood down" I say looking at her guiltily.

She furrows her brows and shakes her head instantly as she squeezes my hand in hers "You didn't, trust me I don't think my mood could ever be down when around you" She says showing me her usual smile again which just makes me feel so unbelievably happy every time I see it.

I smile warmly in return and laugh when I notice Hades putting his paw out trying to put it on top of our held hands.

"You want us to hold your hand too?" Y/N laughs out when she watches Hades practically throw a fit that we aren't giving him attention.

I laugh again and help him place his paw on top of ours.

We both then look to Zeus who's been resting his head on Y/N shoulder.

"You gonna join us handsome?" I say and smile warmly when I watch him perk up when he's sees I'm talking to him.

He then looks to Y/N and watch as she motions for him to put his paw up.

He does so and places it on top of Y/N's making us both cheer in happiness when we see the pile of hands and paws displayed on the table.

We laugh and smile bright at the moment that I know will never leave my mind.

After some more card games we finally got our dinner served and ate in comfortable silence with a few occasional glances that I blush away at every time.

I also don't know when we started it but under the table my legs hook onto one of hers as hers do the same to mine, it's as if our legs where hugging each other under the table.
