The laser from the giant metal dragon cut straight down the street, leaving a wide and sizzling line. Then it exploded all the way down. Everything was blown away by the explosions caused by the immense laser cut. Undyne, Red, Mettaton, Sans, and Jay, were also blown away as the smoke, debris, fire, and shockwave that the explosion caused. Soon, a few of them were buried under some rubble. Jay, however, was buried in more debris than the rest, unable to get out and now...going unconscious.

Far at the city border, the civilians of the city were watching from a safe distance the small explosions going off in the city. Among them were Dr. Gutierrez, Dr. Montero and the rest of the facility personnel. Dr. Gutierrez was monitoring the system status from Jay in his pad with worry, and soon became more desperate when the system was detected to have been damaged.
"Oh no. If he tries to remove the negative core out of the unit again, both will suffer immense damage." Dr. Montero said as he observed the monitor from Dr. Gutierrez's side. Hearing that, he thought frantically for a way to get to his son before he was destroyed by the rouge unit. Looking around, he spotted a group of fighter jets landing on the fields several yards from the crowd. Then he got the urge to do something. One option to help was to manually disconnect the limiters from Jay, just like all other nfds had in their system. It was risky however, but it felt like there was no other way to stop the rouge military nfd from continuing to evolve and grow. With luck, Jay might survive and Dr. Gutierrez could save him in time. Dr. Montero noticed the face of his friend and said not to go because it was too dangerous. "I have to. He's my son, and I have to help him with the least I've got." Dr. Gutierrez replied to his colleague. Montero looked at him before nodding. "Good luck." he said as he watched Dr. Gutierrez leave.
Dr. Gutierrez walked over to the jets and to one of the nfd units. "Excuse me. Will you accompany me to the battle site? I must see my son in order to help him." he said to the nfd. ["I will se what I can do."] the unit said before turning around and heading to the officials. Later, and thankfully, the nfd unit came back and told Gutierrez that both had been given authorization to head into the battle zone. Climbing into the fighter jet cockpit with the nfd unit, Dr. Gutierrez prepared to work fast and find his son to help him as the jet lifted off from the ground.

Deep down in the rubble, Jay still laid trapped under immense weight. He tried to move any part of his body, but couldn't. The only thing that he heard from outside was his friends digging themselves and the others out. Undyne called out for Jay, but there was no response since he could move a single thing. Another sound was heard, followed by the ground shaking hard and a loud mechanical roar. It was the massive mechanical dragon that the Blitzer nfd had created and was now using to continue fighting.
Jay tried moving again, this time more frantically so he could be free and get out of the rubble. However, it wasn't enough since there was so many tons of cement and asphalt debris squashing his small body.
At that time, he felt extremely sad. Sad that he let them in his world and couldn't get out and defend his friends from the large mechanized monster. Also, he felt guilty that he let them fight along side. If that didn't happen, they would be in such danger. Now, the only thing he could do was to helplessly lay stuck as he heard the outside noises from where he was.
[Its my fault. And now...I can't save them.] Jay thought as his eyes began to water.
[You're giving up again, aren't you?] a strain of thought came from his inner conscience. Instantly, he was brought inside his mind and into the never ending darkness that was his inner mind.

There was Jay, and himself, David, in his red human form, but they weren't the only ones together. With them, were other six people each with their own color. Orange, yellow, green, purple, dark blue, and light blue.
"You came to tell me that I don't change?" David asked Jay. "Yes. And that you need to get up right now." he replied to him.
"You realize that I'm stuck beneath tons of debris and can't move, don't you?" David said. "I do. And I also see that you can get out of this pile of rubble. You just need to concentrate on your inner strength. Focus on that energy and use it to bust yourself out, because there is no time." Jay said to him.
"How do I do that? And what will happen if I finally achieve it? Will it help me defeat the Blitzer nfd?" David asked. The orange person, which was a boy, came over to him and placed a hand on his shoulder.
"Why worry about what will happen? You've shown that you are more than capable of doing so without any fear. Take it and beat that machine up." the boy said.
"You have to do it. Those people need earth to live. That's why you let them through, isn't it?" the other one, the green girl, said.
"Even though they have committed atrocities towards humans, they still deserve to have a home here." the yellow boy said.
"There is a 30 percent chance of achieving victory, but such small percentage can accumulate and become larger if you dedicate yourself to continuing onwards." the purple boy with glasses said.
"Be honest with yourself and with what you believe. Don't be afraid to change and give everything you've got to save them." the blue boy said.
"No matter what stands in your way, don't give in to irritation one single moment." the light blue girl said.

David just looked at everyone in awe and thought about what they said to encourage him. All of them were right without a doubt: he couldn't give up now.
"Thank you. Thank you for everything. Will...will I be able to do all this?" David asked, his eyes tearing up. "Of course. You've shown many things that proves you will." Jay said to him as the others gathered around.
"Bravery" the orange one said.
"Kindness" the green one said.
"Justice" the yellow one said.
"Perseverance" the purple one with the glasses said.
"Integrity" the dark blue one said.
"Patience" the light blue one said.
"And the most important one of all, the one you have and will help you be successful..." Jay said as he looked from David to the others. At that moment, everything became bright and brighter slowly, the others glowing brightly as well, until David felt a warmth inside his heart. The soul within him seemed to burn with strength that he has experienced in the past, and it multiplied very fast. Immediately, he knew what it was. He understood what they meant, and what has been inside of him all this time. The feeling that told him never to give up or in no matter what the situation was.
