A light cap of snow was on top of the dragon boy, cold air surrounding him. Jay groaned, getting up and opening his eyes to find himself in a snowy forest with leafless trees and some bushes. Jay wasn't sure what exactly happened, but he did know this place didn't feel familiar or earthly. Jay didn't notice that his body has completely repaired itself over the time he was unconscious. The forest was very quiet, and seemed as if no one was around.
"What do I do now?" Jay muttered to himself as he walked around, the pain of the memories still aching inside of him.
Then his ears perked up as he picked up a rustling sound behind him, sounding very close. Jay turned towards the bush and called out "Who goes there?", his eyes adjusting.
The rustling in the bush stopped, and out came a snow-white dog. It ran up to Jay, barking and wagging its tail. Jay smiled in surprise, bending down to greet the dog. The canine came to him and started to lick Jay's snout, earning a giggle from the robot dragon.
"You like me, don't you?" Jay said as he checked the dog's neck for a tag. When he found it, the tag read "Dogbone" as the dog's name. "Dogbone.....So are you lost, Dogbone? Because I'm lost too for sure" Jay sighed, standing up.
Dogbone jumped away from him and ran a short distance from him, stopping to look back. Then he barked as if he wanted Jay to follow him. "What is it, boy?" Jay asked. "Do you know someone here? Want me to follow you?"
The dog sprinted off, looking back at him. "Hey! Wait up!" Jay called out as he took off to follow Dogbone through the snow-covered forest. When Jay thought he lost track of the dog, he followed its paw prints to a snow path.
[Maybe he went this way. Maybe there is a town where I can ask where the heck I am exactly] Jay thought.
The dragon robot followed the path, skipping over a branch. Up ahead, he saw a bridge with bars wide enough for anyone to go through. Right at that moment, he heard a snapping noise. Jay turned around and saw that the branch has been crushed into two pieces.
Jay felt fear rising in him, and he decided to hurry up. When he got to the bridge, he heard footsteps approaching from behind him crunching in the snow. Then it stopped.

"Hey there" the stranger said to Jay. "Don't you know how to meet a new pal? Turn around,

and shake my hand"

Jay was extremely freaked out. But he turned around to face the stranger. The strange figure reached out a bony clawed hand to him, waiting. Jay wasn't sure if he was supposed to shake it in greeting, but somehow...he felt like the stranger wasn't a threat.
So he took his hand.

FFFFFFFFFRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.....

. . .

"Hehe...The old whoopee cushion in the hand trick. It's ALWAYS funny" the stranger said, revealing himself:

Oh great, looks like I intervened XP)

"I think my hands have sinned" Jay groaned, blue lines going from his head.
"Um....I'm very sorry for that. Anyways, you're new here, right? I'm Sans. Sans the Gaster skeleton." the stranger said.
"My name is Jay. Yeah...I think I arrived here a long while ago, and I'm not sure where I could go for some directions" Jay said.
"I could lead you to the town of Snowdin. It's not far from here. I'm actually supposed to be on the lookout for humans right now. But...y'know...I don't really care about capturing anybody right now. Now my brother, Papyrus...he's a human-hunting FANATIC." Sans said
[Capturing humans? What is that supposed to mean?] Jay thought, a little nervous.
"Hey, actually, I think that's him over there" Sans said, looking over Jay's shoulder.
[!]
The dragon boy was starting to freak out. Human-hunting fanatic? What would that involve? Will they be figure out that he is a human?
"Now that you're looking worried, I have an idea. Come follow me" the skeletal Gaster said, leading him over the other side of the bridge.
Once there, he began to hear footsteps approaching.
"Quick! Behind my sentry post over there." Sans said, pointing to his post.
Jay wasted no time getting behind the post, peeking his head over to see Sans's brother. He was taller than him, wearing a red cape and armor.

"'Sup, bro." Sans said.
"YOU KNOW WHAT IS UP, BROTHER! IT'S BEEN EIGHT DAYS AND YOU STILL HAVEN'T...
RECALIBRATED.
YOUR.
PUZZLES!
YOU HANG AROUND OUTSIDE YOUR STATION! WHAT ARE YOU EVEN DOING?!?" Papyrus said, clearly sounding annoyed and frustrated.
"Just hangin' around, enjoying the fresh air and cold weather. It's really relaxing." Sans said.
"I DON'T HAVE ANY TIME FOR THAT!" Papyrus said, stomping his boots on the ground. "WHAT IF A HUMAN COMES THROUGH HERE!?! I WANT TO BE READY!!! I WILL BE THE ONE! I MUST BE THE ONE! I WILL CAPTURE A HUMAN! THEN, I, THE GREAT PAPYRUS...WILL GET ALL THE THINGS I UTTERLY DESERVE! RESPECT...RECOGNITION...I WILL FINALLY BE ABLE TO JOIN THE ROYAL GUARD! PEOPLE WILL ASK, TO, BE MY, FRIEND? I WILL BATHE IN A SHOWER OF KISSES EVERY MORNING." Papyrus said, doing a heroic pose.
"Hmmm...maybe relaxing for a while will help you with that." Sans suggested.
"SANS!! YOU ARE NOT HELPING!! YOU LAZYBONES!! ALL YOU DO IS LAY AROUND AND BOONDOGGLE!! YOU GET LAZIER AND LAZIER EVERY DAY!!!" Papyrus shouted angrily.
"Hey, take it easy bro. I've gotten a TON of work done today.

A SKELETON."

BA DUM TSSS. ;)

Jay muffled a snort, but couldn't keep the giggles from coming out.
"SANS!!!" Papyrus shouted.
"Come on, bro. You're smiling" Sans said.
"I AM AND I HATE IT! *SIGH...* WHY DOES SOMEONE AS GREAT AS ME HAVE TO DO SO MUCH JUST TO GET SOME RECOGNITION?" Papyrus said.
"Wowww. Sounds like you're really workin' yourself...

down to the BONE" Sans joked again.

BA DUM TSSS ^u^

That did it. Jay could no longer hold his laughter anymore. Luckily, Papyrus didn't hear the laughing coming from the back of Sans's sentry.
"UGH! I WILL ATTEND TO MY PUZZLES! AS FOR YOUR WORK? PUT A LITTLE BIT MORE...BACKBONE INTO IT!! NYEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEH!" Papyrus said, walking off with laughter because of the pun he made.
After a moment Sans said, "Ok, you can come out now. The coast is clear". Jay obediently came out, covering his mouth with the intention to hold his laughter. "Man! You are the best pun master I've ever seen!" Jay said to Sans, chuckling as he tried to make the remaining laughter run out. "I know. I'm the best comedian you've ever heard. Guess you may DIE of laughter" Sans made, making both laugh.
"You oughta get going. He might come back. And if he does, you'll have to sit through more of my hilarious jokes 😉" the skeletal gaster said. "Sure. Ok" Jay said as he started to walk off.
"Actually...hey. I hate to bother ya, but can you do me a favor?" Sans said suddenly, making Jay stop and face him. "Sure. What is it?" Jay asked. "Now that you're here...my brother has been a bit down lately. He's been kind of lonely, and seeing you as a newcomer might make his day a bit. Don't worry, he's not that dangerous. Even if he tries to be. So...y'know, it would really help me out." Sans said.
Jay was unsure if he could fulfill Sans's request, but he smiled and said, "I'll try my best."

With that he followed the path to the town.
