Chapter 89: Getting Back-Up

Y/N's P.O.V

Ben and I are now in the lounge area of the compound.

Ben: So, where are we going?

I face him and show him the device.

Y/N: Okay. So, this is a Interdimensional Extrapolator. After my mission to stop the Green Goblin I created this, just in case we needed to travel to an alternative earth again.

Ben: So, we're going to another earth I'm guessing?

Y/N: Yeah, we are. You ready for this?

Ben: Yeah. But I do have something to say first.

Y/N: Okay, what is it?

Ben: I just wanna say sorry for what happened back during the whole Accords situation. I hope you know that I only joined Tony's side because of Ross threatening my parents. I was... I was just trying to do the right thing.

I put my hand on his shoulder.

Y/N: I know Ben. We were all trying to do what we thought was right back then. It's okay Ben.

He smiles.

Ben: Thanks. Okay, let's do this.

I nod.

Y/N: Let's do it.

I press the button and a portal opens up.

Y/N: Okay, this could take a couple of tries.

Ben and I jump through the portal.

(Fifteen minutes later)

(New York. April, 2018. Earth-65)

After a few wrong tries we make it to Earth-65. The earth I was looking for.

Ben and I jump through the portal and land in the living room of a random apartment.

Ben: Are we in the right place?

Y/N: I don't know.

Ben: Because if we're not in the right place, someone's gonna be real confused.

We turn as we hear a door open and see the Mia of Earth-65.

She sees me and her eyes widen.

Mia: Y/N!

I wave at her.

Y/N: Hi.

She smiles and comes over to me.

Mia: Hey, it's so good to see you again.

She and I then hug.

Y/N: You too.

We pull away and I put my hand on Ben's shoulder.

Y/N: Oh Mia, this is Ben Reilly a.k.a Ghost Spider. He's a Web Warrior on my earth. Ben, this is Mia Lance of Earth-65 a.k.a Spider-Woman.

The two shake hands.

Ben: Hi, I actually know you. Or the you of our earth.

Mia: Hi, it's nice to meet you Ben. Are you Y/N's sidekick?

I interrupt.

Y/N: No, he's more of a protégé.

We turn hear the door open again.

The three of us see a guy come into the apartment.

Mia: Connor? What are you doing here?

Connor: I was coming over, remember?

She shakes her head.

Mia: Oh right. I forgot.

He comes over.

Connor: Who are these guys?

Mia: Oh right! Connor, this is Y/N L/N and Ben Reilly. Y/N Ben, this is my boyfriend Connor.

I shake hands with Connor.

Connor: You're the Y/N from the other earth, right?

Y/N: Yeah, that's right. So you know...

Mia: Oh yeah, he knows about everything.

Y/N: Oh cool. Nice to meet you.

Connor: You too. Mia's told me alot about you and this earth's Y/N L/N.

I chuckle.

Y/N: All good things I hope.

Mia: Of course.

She looks to me.

Mia: So Y/N, what are you doing here?

Y/N: Well, I came here as I need your help. I understand if you can't, but something big is happening on my earth and we need all the help we can get right now.

Mia: What are we up against?

Y/N: Uh... long story short. We're fighting an alien who wants to use a group of stones to take out half the universe.

Mia looks to Connor for a moment, then back to me.

Mia: I'm in.

I smile.

Y/N: Great. Thank you so much.

Mia: Of course. Let me get my suit and we'll go.

After a few minutes Mia comes out in her suit.

Mia: Alright, let's go.

I nod and open up a portal back to mine and Ben's earth.

(Upstate New York. April, 2018. Earth-7)

We come out of the portal on the other end and are back at the Avengers compound on our earth.

Mia: Wow. This place is awesome. On my earth the Avengers only have Avengers Tower.

Y/N: Oh, we had one too but Tony sold it a couple years back.

I then see Yelena come into the lounge.

Y/N: Hey babe.

Yelena: Hey.

She spots Mia.

Yelena: Is this the Mia from the other earth?

Y/N: Yeah, it is. Mia, this is Yelena my girlfriend. Yelena, this is Mia a.k.a Spider-Woman from Earth-65.

The two greet and hug each other.

After that we go and join the other's.

Steve: Y/N, I thought you said you were bringing backup?

Y/N: I did.

Mia then walks in.

Y/N: Okay everyone. This is Mia Lance, or as she's known on her earth Spider-Woman. She a member of the Web Warriors.

Bruce: She had spider powers too?

Before I could answer Mia jumps up and shoots out a web to hang upside down from the ceiling.

Sam nods.

Sam: I'm convinced.

Isaac: This is awesome.

After doing the introductions we leave the compound and head to Wakanda to get some more help from T'challa and Shuri.
