It was a nasty gash of my heart where all the bones that grew inside broke and shattered into more pieces than the ones of the mirrors I broke.
Only for those bones to be healed again and the gash to be stitched with delicate laces of love, managing to bring back everything together. Intact.
But when those delicate stitches eventually snapped, my heart once again burst and all the bones splayed out.
It was hollow this time. Not even the broken bones filling it up with pain. Just utter and complete shallowness, leaving nothing.
