"Oh this is so cute~" Taehyung said to himself as he looked at a cute little reindeer baby onesie that came with antlers and a little tail attached. He was currently christmas shopping and couldn't help but think of Hayoon and her newborn baby when he'd seen the outfit, now he was slowly falling into the trap of the baby section- ooh and aww-ing at clothes for a baby he didn't even have. Quickly grabbing the outfit off the rack and leaving the area, Taehyung fought every urge in his body to continue looking at all the cute little outfits. He quickly picked up the other things he'd gone to get before realizing that he'd have to pass the godforsaken section once more to get checked out.

With closed eyes, he power walked past and went straight to the register and joined the line. As he stood there, waiting for the line to move he was tapped on the shoulder. A little confused, Taehyung turned to see who was tapping his shoulder and let out a gasp, quickly recognizing who it was even though he hadn't seen her in years.

"Sun-Hee!"

"Taehyung!"

The two shouted each other's names in unison, hugging each other with a smile. The last time he saw his cousin, Sun-Hee, he was at least 7 and she was around 5. The two were thick as thieves but lost touch after something happened with his parents that he was never told the story of.

"How have you been? How're things going?" Taehyung asked as they separated.

"I've been alright."  She said, tucking a loose strand of hair behind her ear. "Had a baby my junior year and started working my dream job a few months ago."

"Aww, what'd you have?" The brunette asked.

"A little boy, his name is Siwoo." Sun-Hee said, showing the older a picture of her 2 year old son at a playground smiling as he went down a slide.

"Aw, he's so cute." Taehyung smiled. "He looks just like you."

"I really gave birth to my best friend." She smiled, looking at the picture lovingly before slipping her phone back in her purse. "How have things been for you?"

"Well, I'm getting married to my boyfriend of about 8 months, I have a puppy named Yeontan, a kitten named Storm and I work at a Japanese restaurant." He said, heart racing as he waited for her to say something negative.

"Congratulations! That's so exciting." She beamed.

"Thank you so much, it still doesn't feel real."

The two checked out and walked throughout the mall together, catching up on the 14 years they'd missed out on. As they walked Taehyung led them into the Balenciaga store to pick up the shoes that he'd ordered for Jeongguk, the raven had talked about how he was interested in them a few months back so Taehyung decided to surprise him with them for Christmas. After getting the shoes, Sun-hee led them to a store full of seasonal decor. Taehyung swore he was in heaven as he and his cousin browsed the store, the brunette couldn't resist the urge to buy a whole bunch of decorations for the house.

After lord knows how many hours of shopping and talking, the two walked out of the mall together and swf[iowere about to bid each other goodbye before Sun-Hee suddenly remembered something.

"Hey, we're having a party with everyone in a few days." She said, "You and your fiancé are invited."

Taehyung couldn't help but smile as he accepted the invitation and gave her a hug before they exchanged contacts and said goodbye. As soon as she walked away and he'd gotten into his car, realization hit and anxiety started to set in. As if on cue, Jeongguk called.

"Hi baby, how're you doing?" He asked.

"I'm okay, just got out of the mall."

"What'd you get?" The raven asked with a mischievous tone.

"You'll find out on Christmas."

The couple chatted for just a bit longer before Taehyung hung up and made a stop at the art store to get some cute gift wrapping paper before finally getting back home.

"I'm back, babies!" Taehyung said as he walked into the house with arms full of bags, Yeontan and Storm running to the door to greet him. Closing the door with his foot, the blonde walked into the penthouse and set the bags on the dining room table.

After getting himself situated and changed into some more comfortable clothes, Taehyung wrapped up all the gifts he got before making lunch and put up a good amount of the decorations he'd bought, deciding not to put the tree up yet since that was something he'd wanted to do Jeongguk. He was sitting on the couch taking a break while dinner cooked, when he heard the front door unlock and heard Jeongguk marvel at how well decorated the house was.

"Hi baby, how was work?" Taehyung asked as Jeongguk joined him on the couch with a relaxed sigh and loosened his tie

"It was good," he said, unbuttoning his dress shirt. "I really like what you did, it's really nice," Jeongguk complimented, referring to how Taehyung decorated their home.

"Thanks," Taehyung blushed.

Moving to the kitchen, the couple talked more about the days they'd both had while eating the food Taehyung had cooked.

"Thank you baby," Jeongguk thanked as they finished their meal, he was always thankful for Taehyung's cooking- especially since there was only a small array of foods that he knew how to cook without messing it up.

"You're welcome."

"Come, let's take a shower and get ready for bed, you look tired," he said, offering a hand to the sleepy brunette after he washed the dishes. Taehyung nodded and got up from the dinner table, following the older to their bathroom.

Jeongguk instructed Taehyung to strip while he went to go get the clothes they'd change into, joining him in the shower when he returned. The two bathed in a comfortable silence, doing nothing but more than enjoying each other's presence.

"I saw my cousin today for the first time in years," Taehyung murmured, playing with Jeongguk's large hand as they laid down after their shower.

"Oh really, how did that go?" The raven said, repositioning himself a bit so he could pull his fiancé even closer than he already was.

"It was nice seeing her," he smiled, remembering the feeling of seeing his first best friend. "She'd also invited us to come to a family gathering that she's having. I told her we'd go but I'm also nervous as hell."

"It's okay baby, I'll be there with you," Jeongguk said, kissing his forehead before pulling him into a hug. Taehyung let out a satisfied hum as he melted into the slightly larger male's warm embrace, taking in the scent of his plain black tee as he stopped fighting sleep and let it wash over him.
