In the year 2567. The Devourers first discovered.

In the planet Iquarn where the GFAF and the Balisong terrorist fought until suddenly a Devourer has entered the battle out of a sudden.

With over high causualties for the terrorist and 12 losses for the GFAF, they finally caught the Devourer and put it in ERI custody to contain it and study it.

Now in the year 2945.

A research team was investigating a recently discovered planet somewhere very far from their galactic territory. In the planets, they discovered a very aggressive group of organisms very similar to ERI-874. All the organisms shared 874's features, black skin between solid and liquid, 4-9 tentacles, thousands of sharp teeth, devoured different forms of energy, and were very aggressive towards other living beings.

Half of the scientific team died due to this species. The Galactic Federation now knew there are more 874 and decided to orbital bombard the creatures to cinders so they won't be a problem.

However, karma always hits them when in the year 3138 as ERI-874 in the facility has escaped and destroying Earth and spread millions more of it's kind.

While hope was lost, the High Council Commission has no choice but to use all of their nuke arsenals to destroy every single one of them.

They used a super AI to drop nukes in their position of never leaving a single alive or else if one is alive, it will absorbed the nuclear energy and became more powerful.

As the nukes destroyed all of the devourers in the world, unfortunately, some devourers have escape earth before they died from the nuclear blast.

Make matters worst, a small number of Devourers survive the nuke and have absorbed the nuclear energy making them far more powerful, they went out of earth's orbit and escape, destroying any planets it came across.

It was the start of humanity's nightmare.

No much later, the Federation discovered that the Devourers they discovered were just the tip of the iceberg.

More planets located beyond what they ever travelled were infested with devourers.

Capable of intelligent thought, with strong combat capabilities, and capable of interstellar travel. The Devourers, as humanity called the collective group of parasites, became humanity's worst enemy.

It was not the first time that humanity made contact with another interstellar civilization, but it was the first time the results were so tragic. The Devourers are obsessed with destroying and killing all the other lifeforms in existence.

They were like locusts. Destroying everything in their way. After they invaded a planet, they killed all the lifeforms inside including plants, and then, they abandoned it.

They were destruction incarnate.

While they hunted down the remaining devourers in space, one have escaped and bought friends of its own.

This is the start of the war of humanity and the Devourers.

Since then, the Federation and the devourers fought hundreds of battles. But the devourers prevailed most of the time. Many human colonies were lost, and tens of planets fell in the hands of the nightmarish creatures.
