I went back home, wanting to change my bloody clothes. My guards bowed their heads as I walked past them. This time I went to my room and changed into my normal wear. After doing my business I walked towards Amaris room and opened the door slightly and saw her sleeping soundly.
I couldn't help but feel a tug in my heartstrings as I saw my Luna who was sleeping so peacefully on the bed. She looked so beautiful, and I couldn't help but feel a deep love and admiration for her.
I knew that she was strong and capable but seeing her like this made me feel even more protective of her. I wanted to make sure that she was always safe and happy, and I would do anything to make that happen.
Without disturbing her I went to the meeting room. As my guards opened the door, I saw Kings who were already there checking the files which were piled up on the table.
I went inside and locked the door behind me.
" Found something? " I asked them while moving towards them.
" None " Knox said as he continued to look further in the files.
" But I found something strange! " Spade said as he looked up from the file and we all turned towards him.
" Rowan was the elder brother of Rome, and if we see the history between them, they both fought with each other for the Alpha position, and they never had good relation between them. There were days when Rowan tried to kill Rome ' accidentally ' but failed miserably. " Spade said showing the pictures of them.
" Then why would he want to harm Sam, shouldn't he celebrate? " Knox said while taking the file of Spade.
" That's what I was thinking! He found his Mate and they are going to become Alpha & Luna in the ceremony which was going to be held in this week. " Dexter said as he placed the invitation on the table.
" Did you kill him? " Spade asked raising his head from the files.
" Nope, just slashed his tongue and left arm. " I said with a shrug.
" What, why? " Knox asked confused.
" Rome was always scared of me, but he was confident all of a sudden and I doubt that someone was behind this. So, I placed a tracker and recorder in his flesh while he was unconscious. And Knox you are going to handle it. " I said while giving him and he nodded.
We were discussing until Spade yawned and I dismissed them before I walked towards our room. I so wanted to ignore her and wanted her to rectify her mistakes, but she always pulls me towards her without even doing something.
