Crystal stood with her wings spread wide, facing Spade who held a sword in his hand. She knew what she had to do, but she couldn't bring herself to harm others. It was a natural trait for an angel. As she looked around, she saw the wolves lying on the ground with pained expressions, trying to hide their discomfort.
She looked over at her mate, Samuel, and saw the same look she had received from him for centuries. But this time, she had to choose Angelina over her mate. She created a fog around her, and with a flap of her wings, she began to rise into the air. No one could see what was happening in the fog, but Samuel saw it all.
He gritted his teeth and turned into his giant wolf form before leaping towards the tree. With one powerful leap, he jumped over the tree and saw Crystal flying in the air. He knew he had to act fast to stop her. Crystal flapped her wings aggressively, trying to move away from Samuel, but he was too fast. He jumped from the top of the tree and transformed into his human form in mid-air, grabbing her wing with his powerful claws before slamming her onto the ground.

" Samuel, " Crystal said, her voice soft and calm.

As Samuel tightened his grip on Crystal's throat, he heard her voice for the first time. It was so gentle and soothing that it sent shivers down his spine. He wanted to hear it again and again, to feel her voice wash over him like a wave.
" S-Samuel, " Crystal said softly, her voice barely above a whisper. He was surprised to hear her say his name. He wanted to hear it again.
" Say my name again, " he demanded, his eyes darkening with desire. Crystal hesitated for a moment before complying, saying his name once more. Samuel felt a rush of pleasure course through his body, and he let out a low growl.

He lowered his head before placing a kiss over her neck area as he nuzzled into her, as the guards and Spade left, giving the couple their privacy.
