" We are sorry Alpha, we've never experienced this before, " the group of witches said, bowing their heads in apology.
" I think her witch form is powerful. Heck, she is powerful. That's why we couldn't enter the room. And, I guess today, her witch side is taking over her body. Until then, we can't meet her. " Samuel let out a deep sigh, exhausted from seeing his fainted Luna.
" Fine, " he said.
" For tonight, you can stay here. Our guards will escort you to your rooms. " The witches nodded and left, closing the door behind them. Samuel slumped back in his chair, running his hands through his hair.
" I just want her back, " he muttered. Spade, his best friend, placed a comforting hand on his shoulder.
" Samuel, wait for a few days. Our Luna will be back, " Spade said reassuringly to Samuel. Just then, there was a knock at the door.
" Come in! " Alpha ordered, and a guard appeared with a smile on his face, which he was trying to hide.
" Alpha, our soldiers are back, and they are waiting for you outside! " The guard announced. Alpha Samuel stood up from his desk and walked towards the door.
Alpha Samuel walked out of his office with Spade by his side, and they were greeted by a sea of soldiers in front of them. The soldiers stood tall and proud, waiting for their Alpha's inspection. Samuel walked up to them and inspected each one of them, looking for any signs of injury or fatigue. He was pleased to see that all of his soldiers had returned safely and were in good health.
Samuel turned to face the soldiers and spoke, " I am proud of each and every one of you. You have served our kind with honor and bravery, and for that, I thank you. Your sacrifice and dedication to our pack do not go unnoticed. "
The soldiers looked around at each other, their faces beaming with pride. Samuel continued, " I know this was the longest mission we have ever sent you on, but you have all proven that you are strong, capable, and dedicated warriors. You have made our pack stronger, and for that, I am grateful. "
As Samuel finished speaking, the soldiers looked around and noticed the senior couple watching them. They quickly bowed their heads in respect, and the couple nodded back at them. It was a heartwarming moment, and it made the soldiers feel even prouder of their service to the pack.
Samuel dismissed the soldiers, and they ran off to reunite with their families, while the Kings and the senior couple went inside the pack mansion. They chatted excitedly about the soldiers' mission, sharing stories and laughing together.
Gama Knox turned around, looking for their Luna, but she was nowhere in sight. A frown crept onto his face as he asked Alpha Samuel,
" Alpha, where is our Luna? " The chattering room fell silent, waiting for Samuel's response.
Before he could answer, Chase interjected, " And where is Rose? I couldn't see her either. "
" Rose is on her due date, and we don't know when she will give birth, so she is in the hospital. You can go and check on her, " Spade replied, hoping to ease any concerns about Rose's whereabouts.

" Rest for today and tomorrow we have a meeting in Alpha's room sharp at 8:00 AM, " Spade said, trying to change the subject. Everyone nodded before going to their respective rooms.

Meera frantically searched through her room, making a mess in the process, as she muttered to herself about wanting Samuel to be hers. Her hair was a mess, and clothes were scattered everywhere. She finally found the mirror she had been looking for in her closet, and as she gazed at it, she noticed a dark, ominous smoke emanating from it. Despite the ominous aura surrounding it, Meera couldn't help but grin widely, as if she had found something of great importance to her.
Little did Meera know that the real Meera was about to regain her memories that very night. Or perhaps not - only Amelia, the entity possessing Meera's body, would be in for a shock, but what could it be?
