It was the day of the retreat and you were dressed up in your best clothes with your suitcase by your side, waiting for the bus which would take you to the location.

"Hand your suitcases over and take a seat."

You did as told and followed the students inside, finding a seat by the window before you placed your handbag on the vacant seat next to you, knowing you would be on your own.

"Is this seat taken?"

You looked over to the owner of the voice, surprised to see it was Daniel and you shook your head, moving your bag and allowing him to sit next to you.

"You don't want to sit here, Daniel?" Doo asked in the back, Zoe also calling for him but he refused wanting to stay in this seat next to you.

You were feeling awkward, not knowing what to do since the protagonist just decided to not follow the plot of the story and sit besides you, someone unimportant.

"This is my first time going to a retreat." Daniel mentioned, trying to start a conversation and you hummed, your eyes moving to the window as you focused on the outside scenery.

Daniel grew sad by your response, expecting you to talk back so you could kick it off but you chose the option to end the conversation, leaving him to his own thoughts.

'I don't think [F/N] likes me...'

Daniel was bummed and you could see his expression from his reflection on the window making you internally sigh.

He was a good person, but he was also the main protagonist meaning if you were to get involved with him, you would become of part of his story.

Beut, you couldn't exactly call yourself a background character anymore when so much chaos was occurring to you in your life outside of the story with Gun and Goo involved.

The puppy face he was making had you giving in and you plugged in your earphones, played some light music before offering him an earbud.

Daniel gazed at the earbud, his face soon lighting up with joy. You were almost blinded by how handsome he looked and squinted your eyes for a second.

"Oh, I like this song." He mentioned and you both gazed at each other before breaking into a smile.

That helped break the ice and the two of you held a conversation throughout the journey before the bus came to a stop. You all exited the vehicle before stopping in front of two instructors, Heemin and Woobin.

Heemin was praised for his looks and you tried to hide your distaste for the man, his true intentions making you want to throw up.

Woobin tried to stay professional but the students were mocking him until his eyes laid upon you. You smiled and bowed towards him which took him by surprise and he couldn't help but smile back, happy to know there was at least one kid who would treat him with some respect.

Heemin seemed to have noticed this and held back the frown that almost appeared on his features.

He observed your body from the corner of his eye, noticing you were quite the catch but as soon as he got caught, a shiver ran down his spine at the dangerous gleam that flashed in your eyes.

'Look at me and I'll kill you.'

He focused back on the front, almost breaking into a sweat and spoke up, instructing everyone to find their rooms and get changed into their gym wear.

You had ended up in the room, Mira, Yui and Zoe shared, unpacking your stuff which you planned to use for the trip. You took out your gym wear and turned away from the others to get changed. Once you were done, you were the first to leave the room, leaving behind the girls who were taking their time.
