"Our four eyes president isn't the same after yesterday."

The following day after the war between Workers and Big Deal concluded, Eugene had called up a meeting to cover what had entirely happened at the war for those who missed some parts and what the crew would be doing after.

Samuel had been announced as a betrayer to the crew and was currently confined in an unknown facility along with Johan.

When the meeting wrapped up, Eugene left the room without another word spoken, his eyes not holding that light which usually twinkled in them.

"[F/N] left, remember?" Kenta reminded, his arms crossed as he gazed at Ryuhei with a blank look.

The blonde sighed, thinking of you and how you succeeded your plan to get away from Eugene.

He couldn't help but play over the moment you took him down, the way you gazed down at him while holding confidence in your eyes.

"She did leave with style, though."

That earned him a punch from Kenta.

---------------------------------------------------

"I can't concentrate."

Eugene felt he was losing himself as he delved deeper into the pit of emotions he only felt towards you.

He may have won the war in reality but mentally, he felt as if he had lost.

Lost someone so precious to him.

The paper in his hand began to rip as the frustration of the aftermath began to get to him.

He slammed the paper on the desk and turned his chair so he could look at the scenery outside of the window in his office.

He removed his glasses and leaned back, closing his eyes while releasing a sigh.

"I miss you..."

---------------------------------------------------

Back to the countryside and having the situation between Jichang and Daniel being sorted out by Bakgu, you had been given a room in a guest home to freshen up and change into a fresh pair of clothing.

You stepped out of the room and placed your shoes on, walking out of the small home as you were ready to meet up with the elderly man along with Jichang at the police station.

"Took you long enough."

Hudson was leaning against the wall besides the door and you turned your attention onto him as you raised a brow.

"Who told you to wait for me?"

It was a rhetorical question but Hudson answered to it anyway as he sent you a flat look.

"Jay and Daniel. They don't seem to trust you to be on your own."

You rolled your eyes before moving your attention ahead of you as the two of you walked towards the police station.

It was silent between you both as you weren't close enough to start up a conversation. It didnt bother you since you wanted to enjoy to the peace and quiet for once but Hudson on the other hand...

He glanced down at you from time to time, wanting to have some sort of interaction with you as it was just the two of you together.

Now, Hudson wasn't the type to want the attention of a girl because usually its the other way round but ever since your first meeting at the karaoke bar, you had been slowly consuming his mind which in turn irritated him.

It wasn't until he went to Ma Taesoo for advice when he found out he had a crush.

He accepted his situation but wanted to move on since you lived in the centre of Seoul and he was in Ansan which was almost thirty kilometres away so you hardly were going to meet. He didn't want any distractions while he ran his business.
