It was early in the morning when you had woken up and you were the first to get out of bed, quietly leaving the room to not disturb Daniel who was sleeping soundly.

You stepped outside, coming across Daniel's mother who greeted you with a sweet smile.

"Did you sleep well, dear?"

You stretched your arms up and let out a yawn before your body slumped forward as it became relaxed, earning a laugh from her.

"I slept great." You mentioned.

"I have breakfast ready for you and Daniel on the table. I'm just going to to buy some groceries and then I'll come back." She informed and you thanked her before moving over to the bathroom to wash up.

When you returned, Daniel was surprisingly up and already seated by the table, eating his food.

"Morning. Did I wake you up?" You asked.

Daniel didn't have it in him to say that he never actually slept at all last night so instead, he shook his head to your answer and gave you a warm smile.

"I had enough sleep."

You both sat together and ate your breakfast before cleaning up and getting ready for the day.

"I'm back." Daniel's mother called out.

You were in the middle of styling your hair when you heard her voice. You finished up quickly and stepped out of the bedroom to greet her, only to raise a brow at the man who stood behind Daniel's mother with a light smile painting his lips.

"This young boy was looking for you, [F/N]."

Your eyebrows creased with wonder as you observed the older man, not recognising him as anyone you knew.

"I was hoping to speak with you privately, if that's alright with you?"

You didn't know him and for him to ask if you could speak without anyone else around didn't seem to be a good idea.

"I'm sorry but, I don't feel comfortable with that."

He didn't seemed fazed by your words and nodded, respecting your choice.

"That's fine but, I have something important to discuss with you."

He pulled out a paper from his pocket and stretched his arm out to hand it to you. You pulled the note from between his fingers, noticing the scars that ran across his skin.

"Thank you." He dipped his head as a form of bowing before walking out of the house.

Daniel's mother watched the exchange with a hint of worry as she noticed how tense you were and she walked up to your side, placing a hand on your back as a way to comfort you.

"You okay, dear?"

You nodded, assuring her that you were fine as you lightened up your expression. She moved away from you to put away the groceries while you opened up the paper, reading the content scribbled on it.

You held your breath, your eyes glistening with shock as you stared at the note with disbelief.

'We may be strangers but we have a lot in common. Like, moving into this world after dying.'

He was transferred into this world like you?

Your legs almost failed on you as the shock had taken a toil on your body but you had to remain strong to not worry Daniel or his mother.

Your eyes trailed down to the note to see a phone number and a name written.

"Han?" You whispered the name to yourself.
