CHAPTER 44

[a/n: another quick update because I was overexcited to write this fight scene!]

Seokdu Wang was seated on the ground, a sense of astonishment enveloping his whole body as he tried to take in the fact that someone as tiny as you held the strength of ten men.

'What the fuck?'

You had crouched down in front of him with a small grin painting your lips, the words tumbling past your lips being unheard as he couldn't get over his shock.

He glanced up at you as you stared down at him and he was put into further shock as he was reminded of an opponent that defeated him in his school days.

'Why did I suddenly think of him?'

Seokdu couldn't take the flurry of emotions that consumed his mind and it triggered his anger to take over instead.

This isn't the same as back then. He had changed. He wasn't going to be defeated so easily by the likes of you.

He was of the first generation and you were the second.

He was superior.

He had to take you down.

You stepped back as you felt a shiver run down your spine, the atmosphere surrounding the older man making you put your guard up.

"It's nice to know your taking me seriously." You said, trying to calm your nerves by adding in a joke.

He didn't respond to your words with a few of his own but instead sent his large fist in your direction, swinging it straight ahead. You easily dodged it by stepping to the side and smacking his arm so it would direct his fist away from you before you drove your own punch into his side.

Your eyes widened as he barely budged, a manic grin placed onto his features and causing a sense of fear to strike you.

"Taesoo was right."

Your eyebrows scrunched up with confusion as you heard the name, not recognising it.

"Who the hell-"

Your lips parted, a silent scream escaping you as he landed a blow against your stomach with so much power, he ended up lifting your body up in the air for a second.

"Taesoo was right! Yes indeed, I really do feel as if I've returned to the past!!"

He didn't let your body fall and landed another punch to your face, a splutter of blood escaping your nose and having you cry out.

"You know. We missed it! We missed the first generation which those bastards ended together!"

'Together? I thought James Lee was the only one to end the generation.'

You remembered from the series about James Lee's past and how he was the one to finish the first generation by himself so, why was Seokdu saying there was another?

Seokdu ripped his shirt and blazer into shreds as he became pumped up with so much excitement while you made an effort to stand up, your body trembling ever so slightly.

"Are you getting up after those punches?! Good! Show me what you got, girl!"

You took a deep breath as he ran towards you and you forced all the fear to leave your body, your eyes gleaming with a [favourite colour] glint.

"Don't underestimate the second generation!"

You leaped up and spun your body, your leg swinging and striking the side of his head, avoiding his stretched out arm which aimed another fist in your direction.
