"We can't stay here anymore."

You stared at you parents with shock as they dropped the news of having to move out of Seoul.

"But, I managed to get a job and I'll pay for the rent...I promise!" You tried to convince them to stay but they shook their heads.

"Your grandmother has already been asking us for the past year to move back to help over at her restaurant in Busan. We can't afford to live here anymore."

You couldn't leave. Your involvement with the four crews and especially Workers would only bring trouble with you to Busan.

"I have to stay, mom." You concluded as you made up your mind but your mother and father rejected your idea.

"We're not leaving you here on your own. Something might happen to you."

You averted your eyes as you thought of all the events that occurred to you in the past years and you almost wanted to laugh.

"I made a two year contract with my boss so I'm not allowed to leave otherwise I would have to pay a fine." You had no choice but to lie and your parents looked troubled as they turned their gazes to one another.

"We'll ask our friend if you can stay with their son. I'm not letting you live on your own."

Friend?

This piqued your interest and they could see it in your eyes causing a smile to paint their lips.

When you heard you were staying at a friend's house, you were expecting someone who was of the same class as your family.

"You've grown up so much, [F/N]!"

You didn't expect them to be a high class family. A high class family who you were very familiar with.

"We have known each other since high school." Your father explained while you gaped at his friend.

It's was Steve Hong. The Steve Hong. The one who helped small Daniel with Sophia Alexander to lose weight and infiltrate Club Vivi.

The one who is also the father of Jay Hong.

Speaking of Jay...

He was standing behind his father and sending you a friendly wave which you were too stunned to return.

"Jay, show [F/N] to her room."

You turned to your parents and gave them a hug, knowing you wouldn't be seeming them for a while before you followed after Jay, still trying to take in the fact that your father was friends with someone so powerful.

"If you had let me buy the land, you wouldn't even have to worry about paying rent." Steve mentioned with a frown as he gazed at your father who chuckled.

"That's why I refused. I can't let you carelessly use your money on us." He said which made Steve sigh.

"Alright...I'll take care of [F/N] and make sure she is always comfortable so don't worry." He assured them and they were thankful.

"Thank you."

"I feel betrayed."

Jay was startled by your words and almost broke into a sweat as you squinted your eyes at him.

"Our parents knew each other and you never told me."

Your look of suspicion dissappeared as soon as Jay shook his head frantically.

"Oh, you didn't know? Your father told you now?" He was nodding his head after each question and you made a look of understanding.
