"Feeling better?"

You sniffed, wiping the last of your tears and giving the older boy a nod.

You weren't planning to cry in front of Jake and instead question him his intention behind hiding the truth but having bottled up all your emotions for the past month, you ended up bursting out.

"Sorry." You mumbled and he placed a hand on your head as a way of comfort.

"Don't feel sorry. It's best to let it all out."

You both stared ahead at the building belonging to the first affilate and a sigh left your lips.

"Eugene is a pain in the ass. If his crew weren't in Gangnam, he wouldn't be as successful as he is now." You badmouthed the older boy while Jake couldn't help but chuckle.

"You know that isn't true. Eugene would succeed anywhere. He had the money from the start." Jake mentioned and you slumped back, letting out a groan.

"Yeah...I know." You huffed.

Jake stood from his seat and turned to the vending machine besides him, pulling out a few coins to grab a drink.

"What do you want?" He asked as he looked your way for a moment before focusing back on the machine.

You told him what you wanted and he punched in the correct number before the drink you asked for, fell at the bottom of the machine. He pulled it out before handing it over to you.

"What's this for?" You asked as you took of a sip of your drink, reminiscing the taste for a second before focusing on him.

"My way of apologising. I would have taken you out for lunch but I'm currently wanted by the police so..."

You couldn't help yourself as you leaned over to bump into him in a playful manner. He returned the gesture before the two of you shared laughter between you.

"We'll get through this together."

He offered a hand to hold and you accepted it, giving it a soft squeeze which made him smile.

"Let's take down the first affilate." Daniel spoke, trying to look epic as he walked towards the entrance.

You wore the uniform belonging to  the private ambulence company, ready to go and take down Hangyeol.

Just the thought of him made you frown.

"It would be nice to go now but first, we need an ambulence vehicle." Jace mentioned.

He adjusted the hat on his head and tilted it down to condone the serious expression on his face while Daniel blushed, feeling embarrassed that he was planning to leave without the most important thing.

"That's why I came up with another plan. Operation private ambulence hijack!" Jace revealed with a proud look.

"But Jace! That's a crime!" Vasco was appalled over the idea that his friend suggested.

"How else are we going to get one then?"

You turned to Jay as he held the phone by his ear and spoke no words but even then, he was able to communicate with the other person on the line and have an ambulence vehicle be bought to them.

"I'm not even surprised." You mumbled to yourself but Hudson caught your words and raised a brow.

"Is this what he usually does?" Hudson asked as he leaned closer to you while keeping his gaze on the scene ahead of Daniel thanking Jay.
