It took a while for you to get over the initial shock and as soon as you did, another emotion spiked up.

"You planned this, didn't you?"

Taking you out to dinner, charming you, allowing you to drink wine and even booking a hotel room...it was all so you could sign a contact to join Workers.

You were angry.

"Planned or not. I gave you a choice and you decided to go along with everything I offered. Like a puppet." He smirked, knowing his harsh words had affected you greatly.

Samuel could see the sparks of fury ignite in your eyes and watched as you walked closer to him with your fist raised, ready to take him down.

"Article four of the contract says you are not allowed to fight a fellow employee." He pointed out but you were pissed, not caring about some stupid rules.

Your fist was inches away from his face but you halted as the words that came out of his mouth next made you hesitate.

"If you break the contract, your parents will have to pay 100 million won as a price."

You teared up, frustrated at yourself for not being able to do anything and moved your hand so it was by your side.

"I'm glad we're on the same page now." Samuel caressed your cheek with his hand and wiped away the tear that trailed down your cheek.

You turned away from his touch, closing your eyes as you tried to calm yourself from the storm of emotions that were dying to break you apart.

You need to get out here.

You grabbed your bag and moved around Samuel, not wanting to speak with him any longer but he had one more thing to say before he let you leave.

"I think it would be best to keep quiet about your contract unless you're willing to tell others of what we did last night for you to sign it."

His words humiliated you and you bit your lower lip as it trembled, the tears you were holding back threatening to escape.

"I won't."

You finally left the hotel, your chest tight as you were struggling to not cry but as soon as you grabbed a taxi to take you back home, you finally let out the tears, ignoring the questioning gaze the driver sent through the mirror.

You wiped your eyes after you had calmed down, them becoming puffy and you looked out the window to see you were almost there. Once the car came to a stop, you paid the man the taxi fare and got out, walking to the front door of your house which was surprisingly unlocked.

When you entered, you were met with the sight of your parents along with your friends who were seated anxiously in the living room.

"Hello?" You called out in an uncertain tone and everyone snapped their head your way.

"[F/N]!"

They all rushed towards you, your mother being the one to bring you into a hug as she cried, relieved to see you back while you returned it with a confused look.

"Where were you? I was worried sick when you didn't return home!"

You pulled out your phone and saw nearly a hundred missed calls from your parents along with your friends and realised Samuel must have put your phone on silent so it wouldn't disturb you both.

"I was working out at the gym till late and stayed in a hotel since I thought it would be dangerous to come home at that time so I waited till it was morning." You lied but your mother seemed to have bought it as she sniffed, moving back.
