You stood in front of the mirror, looking at yourself to see if you were decently dressed for the meeting Eugene had ordered you to come to.

You were planning to sit out of this meeting as you were in no mood to be in the same room as Eugene, not being able to look at him the same way after knowing the truth.

You released a sigh and turned to the door, opening it as you planned to step out but you almost bumped into a very built chest causing you to pause and look up.

"You ready?" Samuel gazed down at you, a hint of a smirk on his face.

After getting over your initial surprise, you sent Samuel a nod and his smirk faltered, finding your lack of reaction to be strange.

He dropped it however and turned away from you, informing you that he was ordered by Eugene to drive you to club Vivi.

The two of you made your way to his car and as you took a seat in the passenger seat, you kept your focus ahead.

You had been quiet and Samuel was beginning to find it odd. He didn't question it and started the engine, driving the two of you towards Club Vivi.

"I thought all this time, you were the one to make that room full of my pictures. It was one of the reasons why I hated you."

Samuel suddenly swerved to the side making you let out a startled sound but as he parked to the side, you gave him your full attention as he spoke.

"We have an hour until the meeting starts so let it out and don't hold back."

You could see from his expression that he wanted you to tell him how you felt about him because he had enough of the bad tension between you both.

"I hate you for making me feel happy when we went out on that fake date. I hate you for getting me drunk and taking advantage to get me to sign a contract. I hate you for everything you did at the fourth affilate, just to get me to be on your side."

You cursed under your breath as tears slid down your cheeks and you looked away to wipe them.

"The date wasn't fake."

Your eyes widened and you looked over to him once again to see if he was being truthful.

"I wanted to take you out on a date but Eugene found out and I had to make up a lie and say I was trying to get you to sign a contract."

"So...this all happened because of Eugene."

You concluded his explanation and he nodded but you still weren't happy and he wanted to know why.

"But, you still had a choice. You had the choice of not doing any of that to me."

"But, Eugene-"

"Eugene this, Eugene that. You said you wanted to become King. So, how do you plan on doing that if you stay below him?"

Samuel gripped onto the wheel tightly, irritated that your words were the harsh truth.

"We have a similar objective and that's to work under Eugene until he no longer benefits us. As soon as he takes a fall, I'm going to take him down and you should too. That way, you can get one step closer to being King."

You offered a hand to shake and he gazed down at it in surprise.

"Let's use each other to get what we want."

The offer he had been waiting for.

He clasped his hand around yours and shook it, creating a truce between you and allowing you to let go of the past.
