CHAPTER 63

"So...are we heading to the first affilate tommorow?" You asked, gazing ahead at Daniel as he was texting someone unknown to you.

"Yeah. I just need to confirm something and then we'll be set for tomorrow." He told without looking up at you.

Your own phone vibrated, telling you to take it out and check.

It was a text from your mother asking how you were and you were quick to give her a reply. Once you had done so, you closed the chat and checked for any other unread messages but, your eyes landed on Johan's name and a sad gleam appeared in your eyes.

'I'll save you, Johan.'

You pressed onto the chat, looking to see the last message Johan had sent you was a picture of him and Eden going on a walk at the park.

The angle which he took it was one you could tell wasn't very good as he had cut off half of his face, showing more of Eden than himself.

The image made you smile and you couldn't help but go through your entire chat history, wanting to remember the memories held behind it.

[a/n: this chapter will be a special of Johan and [F/N]'s relationship developing after God Dog disbanded so, it'll be placed a year earlier before Workers showed up.]

With God Dog disbanding and Johan not being seen for the previous week, you couldn't help but worry.

He hadn't visted your restaurant for dinner like he usually would and even your parents had questioned his whereabouts.

You had left him a text to ask how he was but no response was given, leaving you no choice but to see him for yourself.

It was on a weekend when school was closed and your parents took care of the restaurant yourself that you made a quick journey to Gangbuk to see if you could find the boy himself.

You took your phone out and took a selfie, making sure to show your background before sending it to Johan.

'Guess where I am~!'

You hoped he would check this time round as you rarely sent him a pic of yourself and to your amazement, you saw the tick mark next to image turn blue.

What you recieved back from Johan had you leaning closer to phone to see if you were seeing right.

"Huh? Why does that look like..."

Another image was sent and it showed Johan along with the back view of yourself, hunched over and checking your phone.

You spun on your heel and let out a cry of fright as Johan was standing right behind you.

"Johan, you scared me!"

He didn't seem impressed and looked down at you with a blank stare.

"What's wrong?"

He crossed his arms and huffed, not happy with your response.

"What?" You were truly lost which earned you a flick to your forehead.

"Ow! Come on, Johan. I'm not a mind reader!"

You rubbed your forehead while looking up at Johan with a small frown and he copied your expression.

"Master Bunny."

You stared at him for a moment before you came to a realisation.

Master Bunny beat up his entire crew.
