Wilbur nodded, smiling gently. It wavered as he watched Tommy spar, hoping the boy wouldn’t accidentally hurt his shoulder. It had been around a week since he first received the injury, but it still was far from being fully healed. The wound could come open again, or Tommy could generally hurt himself with it. It was a layering of so many fears stacking on top of each other in his mind. He kept his worries silent, though, even as they ate up inside of him. He didn’t want to be overbearing and ruin Tommy’s fun. Especially right now.

He was a bit shocked when Mr. Halo gave the sword to Tommy, looking wide-eyed at the blacksmith. He didn’t say anything, but he was just as surprised as Tommy was. There were items from all over compiled into that single sword.

Not to mention the insane craftsmanship it must have taken…. To give it away to someone must have meant a great deal of trust, and  friendship. All of it was, admittedly, surprising to him.

Bad laughed kindly messing with the boys hair. He was always like a secret uncle to him before. Visiting him and his mother in the capitol a few times. Before he couldn't. "Theseus, you are family to me. Your father was like a brother to Me" he knelt down to look him in the eyes. "I promised him, when he came back. I'd give him that. But he never did, so the promise carries to you as his heir"

The boy felt tears in his eyes. It was his fathers, and due to Alexander's death, it was now him. "Thank you!" he said wiping tears away. Placing the sword into a sheath as Bad helped him attach it to a leather buckle and adjust it on him. It was perfect length for him

Tommy felt his heart bursting. As he ran forward to hug him, and while it was slight pain from his shoulder that kept it gently and not tight, he was happy. "Thank You so much!" His tears fell to the Blackstone bricks they stood on. Half of the back was covered in it.

Bad laughed. "No thank you, for coming to visit. It got lonely"

Wilbur smiled a bit at them, watching from closer to the doorway. He wanted to give the two a moment mostly by themselves, with him not invading anything. He was glad Tommy was having a nice time, and that he has found people who he used to know. And who knew his father. The fact that Bad had given Tommy the sword alone was a bit amazing, he had to admit.

Wilbur looked over at them eventually, smiling to bad, “no, really, thank you, sir.” He said happily, “I’m glad we were able to find you.” He confessed. He truly was happy they found someone who knew Tommy. Not only knew, but the two were friends.

Bad smiled back. "Any time. To make Theseus happy was my goal, and look here now. He is" sure enough Tommy was beaming with pride and joy. He let go of Bad and ran to Wilbur happily hugging him too. Again gentle and not tight. He was being careful with his shoulder as he knew Wilbur wanted him too. Even if he didn't vocally say it, Tommy saw his expression and worry when sparring with the sword. And didn't want to see it again, he brought wilbur to be happy.

"Master Wilbur, I believe it is time to go now" they had been there for some time, and he didn't want to keep the shop owner from his work. "Thank you once more Mr Halo, for the sword!" He'd thank him as many times as he could for it.

Of course though, it was up to Wilbur to choose if they left now. He was after all the prince and Tommy's master. He couldn't go with out him, even if released from his calling as an aide. He wouldn't do that.  So he looked up smiling as he tilted his head awaiting an answer

Wilbur smiles, nodding. He looked back towards bad, “thank you for letting us visit you, sir. And for the sword, that was a very kind gesture.” He admitted, before looking back down towards Tommy. “Lead the way to where you wanna go next. This is your trip, after all.” He said gently as they headed back towards the street.

They walked through the streets to their next destination, people bustling around them now more than ever. Needless to say, it didn’t take too long till someone else noticed Tommy. They had stopped outside a cozy cafe, Wilbur suggesting they stop inside for some food since they hadn’t eaten yet that day.

As they entered, the woman behind the counter looked over with a friendly smile from where she was setting out some fish-shaped cookies, opening her mouth to greet them before she went slack jawed.

She quickly set down the warm tray on the table, putting aside what she was about to do in order to slip around the counter and walk over. “Theseus?” The white- haired woman asked in disbelief.

Tommy happily waved goodbye as they went on their way. It was fun being back, but also a little scary. So many good but also bad things happened here to him. And he wasn't sure what to feel. But having Wilbur there next to him made it all much better.

He watched as many flooded around them. The day was close to an end, it being evening and he was a little hungry. The sun wouldn't set for a few more hours, so a little thing from a cafe wouldn't hurt. Or so he thought. As he walked in and to the counter he couldn't help but hear the familiar name once more. 'Theseus'. He instantly looked up confused. Her white hair gave it all away. As his eyes lit up and he ran to greet her.

"Puffy!!" He giggled as he almost tackled her to the ground. He was gentle though as not to hurt the lady. "Your shop! It grew!?" He sounded so surprised to see her there. She came back too? After fleeing he noticed a few other familiar looking people were there. Other than her and bad. Common villagers he barely knew. But he knew Mrs Puffy very well.

"I thought the Captain had left the ship?" It was a code. Or a joke maybe. He was speaking of the stories she told him. The captain was Puffy, and the ship was the town. He was a sailor in them. He never forgot the stories.

Puffy couldn’t believe her eyes at first, but low and behold, he was here! The boy so many of them had remembered so fondly was back to the town after years of absence. She nearly feared it was a coincidence, that the boy just looked strikingly similar to her memories. But, no, it was him!

She laughed in surprise at the hug, ruffling his hair fondly. “Theseus, it’s actually you!! My gods, you’ve gotten tall.” She grinned, pulling away a slight bit. “It has, it has! Grown in popularity, too!” She beamed, leading them over towards the counter as a man took over her place behind it. She snickered at the code, nodding a small bit.

“Yes, well.. When the ocean waves stop rolling, the water settling, what else is a captain to do but give into the pull to go back to her ship?” She responded in the same metaphorical code. She couldn’t help but snicker softly at the lost look the man behind tommy was giving her.

Tommy giggled as he looked to Puffy with bright smile. He was like an aunt to him. He grew so close during the few years he lived there till the wars. "And the sailor is glad Captain has returned!" He laughed as he said it, looking to wilbur, knowing he was very well confused whom she was.

He backed up and looked back to her. "Captain. Meet Master Wilbur!" He wasn't sure if she noticed his royalty like Bad had. After all he was dressed like a commoner. He would suppose only manners and way of speaking could give it away. For Bad it was the way Tommy addressed him so calmly and happily.

He then looked at himself up and down. He had grown a lot since he last saw her. And she was right it seemed about the shop, it was still pretty busy even with night falling.

"Can we get something Captain?" He called her that for old times sake. He over looked the menu for anything he was familiar with and smiled. There was so many new options. But he didn't know which to choose first..
