Unexpectedly Falling For You

Setting: Airplane going to Manila.

Aika and Caesar boarded the plane to Manila. Their flight was around 1 am in the morning so both of them didn't have enough sleep beforehand.

Aika: The ride going to Naga will be 10 hours. Is that okay with you?

Caesar smiled at what she said.

Caesar: 10 hours with you? Pwede ba mag ask ng another 10 hours extension?

Aika smiled at him and slapped his shoulder.

Caesar: Ouch. What was that for?

Aika: Ang aga mo pa talaga bumanat, Caesar. Matulog ka diyan.

He laughed at her reaction.

After an hour flight, both of them went to the bus terminal going to Naga.

Setting: At the bus

Aika was so sleepy, she decided to lay her head over the window area but Caesar saw this.

He pulled her head towards his shoulder. She wanted to raise her head but his hand kept it from moving.

Caesar: Sleep here. It's much more comfortable if you sleep on my shoulder.

At this time, Aika was too tired to argue. Indeed, this was more comfortable than her previous position. As she close her eyes, she can smell his scent. She liked how he smell. It was fresh and cool. It was distinct. It made her more attracted to him.

As the 10 hour travel nearly coming to a stop, Aika woke up. She looked at him. He was busy reading from his IPad. He wore glasses while reading. It suited him. It made him look more mature. One thought came to her mind as she looked at the view.

Aika's mind: He is so attractive.

Caesar noticed that she was awake. He put down his IPAD and diverted his attention to her.

Caesar: Did you sleep well?

He said this as he ran his hand over her hair.

Aika: I did. You didn't sleep? (Concerned)

Caesar:I took a nap pero madami kasi akong need basahin na documents. I wanted to finish them early.

At that time, Aika felt like she burdened him to go with her to Naga.

Aika: Sorry. Sana sinabi mo sakin na busy ka pala para di na kita pinilit sumama. (She said this as her smile started to fade)

Caesar noticed her reaction changed. So this was another side of her, he thought her reaction was cute. He took her hand, intertwined his fingers with hers, and began comforting her.

Caesar: Aika, I would never miss the chance to be with you. (He said this as he kissed her hand and continued)

Caesar: I'm just finishing everything early so that you can have my full attention on this trip. Come on. Don't be sad na.

He moved his face closer to hers and smiled as he pleaded.

Caesar: Please?

Aika couldn't help but smile. He was too adorable to begin with. She couldn't help but nod in response.

The trip continued and eventually the two arrived at Naga. As they travel to the Robredo residence, Aika's phone rang. It was her mother, Leni, calling.

Aika: Hello ma?

Leni: Oh Aika, asan ka kayo? Sa bus parin ba?

Aika: Di ma, nandito na kami sa Naga. Papunta na po sa bahay.
