Setting: Hospital

Caesar: How is she? Is she gonna be okay Trish?

Tricia didn't answer. 

Caesar was no raising his voice.

Caesar: Trish, answer me!

Astrid: Kuya!

When Astrid interfered, Caesar calmed down.

Caesar: I'm sorry. I was just worried. But is she gonna be fine?

Tricia took a deep breath and explained everything.

Tricia: She's stable for now but we still don't know what's causing all of this. Her organs are failing fast and if this keeps on going we should be ready for something worst.

Caesar lost his balance as he heard what Tricia said. 

Caesar: Do everything, please. I don't care what the cost is or who should we contact. Just..

Just..

Caesar didn't leave her side. He was constantly holding her hand all throughout the night.

Leni: Anak, you should rest.

Caesar: I'm okay po tita. If only, I didn't left her she wouldn't be in this state.

Leni: Caesar, its not your fault. We still don't know what happened. Go rest na. It won't help if you get sick too.

Caesar: Alright tita. I will.

He slept on her bedside. Still holding her hand no matter what.

Leni: Trish, have you contact him?

Tricia: Yes ma, kuya David is on his way na.

Morning came and as soon as Caesar woke up.

He can see someone touching Aika.

It was David.

He hurriedly went up to him and wanted to punch him but Tricia interfered.

Tricia: Kuya, I called him. He's here to help.

David: Looks like ayaw mo gumaling si Aika.

Caesar: Wala na bang ibang doctor Trish!

David stopped checking Aika.

He look at Caesar.

David: Fine, if you want to replace me do as you wish. Let's see if Aika can handle your decision as well.

He was about to walk out when Caesar hold his arm.

Caesar: Stay. Please.

Caesar begged in front of David.

David examined Aika and ran some tests.

Caesar was left along with Aika as Tricia and the family went to find some references and asked for help.

David came inside the room

David: You're really worried about her.

Caesar: If only I could take this pain away from her, gagawin ko.

David: Paano if kaya mo gawin yun?

Caesar looked at David.

Caesar: What do you mean?

David: I know how to save her Caesar.

Caesar: Really!!!! Then let's do it!

David smirked.

David: Why would I do that if she would eventually be with you?

Caesar frowned at his reaction

Caesar: David, this is Aika we're talking about!

David: yeah I know.

Caesar: You would rather see her die than save her!?

He grabbed David's shirt.

David: Careful, one scratch and there's no Aika for you.

Caesar let go. Afraid that Aika will be affected by his decision.

Caesar: What do you want?

David: You know what I want Caesar. But you see, hindi lang ako ang kailangan mong puntahan just to save her.

David whispered to Caesar.

As he mentioned the name Lucas, he clenched his first.

Caesar: you were with them all along. Why!?

David: Caesar, I think this is what's best for Aika. She sacrificed everything for you before

Caesar stood in front of Aika who was so weak at this moment.

He stroke her hair. Caressed her face, as he wanted to remember everything.

Caesar: Why does everyone keep on keeping me away from you Aika.

Tears fell down on his eyes. He couldn't stop it. He was afraid of what was happening because eventually, there was only one choice he could do.

Caesar: I don't want to lose you again, Aika

Tricia and Astrid went inside the room seeing Caesar with a lifeless stare towards Aika.

Astrid: Kuya you should eat.

Caesar stood up and smiled empty.

Caesar: Hey Astrid, can you stay with Aika for a moment. I just need to go somewhere else.

Astrid knew that look. She knew he couldn't stop him

Astrid: Ok I will, but make sure.
