Setting: Astrid's Room

Astrid was calling Aika regarding the dinner tonight.

Astrid: Hi Aiks, regarding the dinner later.  Can I invite someone over? And can we meet up before dinner?

Aika: Sure, who are you bringing. Does Caesar know?

Astrid: No, he doesn't pa eh. I want you to meet her first is that okay?

Aika: Okay, let's do that.

Setting: Nearby coffee shop

Astrid was already sitting along with Diana.

Aika finally arrived at the shop and saw Astrid and the woman with her.

As Diana turned to her, Aika can see Caesar in her.

She was beautiful. Aika was out of words when she saw her.

Astrid noticed. She started the introductions.

Astrid: Aika, this is our Mother, Diana.

Diana stood up and offered her hand.

Diana: It's a pleasure meeting you. I'm Diana. I've heard so much about you from Astrid. Thank you for taking care of my son.

Aika returned the handshake.

Aika: My name is Aika po tita. Nice meeting you as well.

The three of them sat as Astrid discussed the situation.

Hearing this, Aika was concerned. Diana tried to say that it was okay.

Diana: His actions have justifications. I hurt him before, Aika. It wasn't easy for him.

Aika held her hand and said to her.

Aika: Still, you're his mother. And you went in grief during that time.

Aika smiled at Diana as she was saying that. Diana was surprised with what she said. She looked at Astrid to verify.

Astrid smiled and nod.

Diana was very happy. So happy that she hugged Aika.

Her son found someone he was willing to marry.

She teared up as she was hugging her. As Caesar's mother, she prayed day and night for his son. She wanted him to be happy and now, he found this happiness with her.

As how she did with Caesar's father.

After letting her go, Aika smiled at Diana and said.

Aika: Tita, please, do come with us for dinner.

Diana smiled. Looks like his son chose the best. She smiled and said.

Diana: I would love to Aika. And dear,
