Diet

A movie night for the married couple. Their sons went out with their friends, that's why they are alone in their house.

"Oh ang ganda nang katawan niya." Irene said, they're watching a movie that have a beach scene.

"Ha?" Greggy did not quite catch it.

"His body built is good." Irene repeated it pertaining the actor, thinking that Greggy did not understand what she is saying.

Greggy just nod since he is focusing on the movie

It did not sink in to him until he went to shower that night. Staring his body in the mirror.

"Tumataba na ako." He commented on his self before putting a clothes on.

"Mag d diet na talaga ako simula bukas." He whispered before turning off the light in their walk in closet.

Irene is already laying down, she puts her phone beside the bed table when she saw Greggy approaching.

"Tulog na tayo." Greggy said, hugging Irene.

Irene put her hands on Greggy waist.

That morning like what Greggy said yesterday night. He will really going to diet.

"Dear, may yogurt tayo?" Tanong ni Greggy.

Irene look at him, "Bakit?" She asked before turning her eyes back at the stove.

"Ah wala lang. Yun lang kakainin ko." Sagot niya, sitting down at the dining area.

"Bakit?" Tanong ulit ni Irene.

Greggy chuckled, "Wala naisipan ko lang mag diet." Sagot ni Greggy.

"Diet!?" Gulat na tanong ni Irene, "Bakit ka mag d diet? Ang payat payat mo nga."

"Wala gusto ko lang maging healthy living." Sagot niya.

Irene serve a food, "Hindi, hindi ka mag di diet!" Hindi pag payag ni Irene.

"What if mag gym ako?" Tanong ni Greggy at hinila siya para umupo sa hita niya.

Lumingon si Irene sa kanya naka kunot na yung noo niya.

"Sino bang pinapa gandahan mo nang katawan ha?" Tanong niya.

"Ikaw..." Sabi ni Greggy at pinisil yung pisngi niya.

Agad agad tinanggal ni Irene yung kamay ni Greggy at tumayo. "Hoy! Kuntento na ako sa ganyang katawan mo!"

Greggy laugh at that statement, "Ano ba yan parang may ibang meaning." Sabi niya nang tahimik.

"Kumain ka!" Sabi niya at sya na din nag lagay nang kanin at ulam kay Greggy.

Since the day they dated to married, Greggy eat all the food that Irene cooking. He can't also say no since it's delicious and addictive.

The lunch approach, Greggy's secretary ask him if he needed anything or he wants to order some food for lunch. But Greggy declined, saying that he isn't hungry.

A phone call from Irene, "Hello." Agad agad na sagot ni Greggy sa tawag.

"Good afternoon, kakauwi lang ni Alfonso kanina umalis ulit." Reklamo agad ni Irene.

Greggy chuckled, "Gala rin ano?"

She glare at the screen, "Mana sayo."

Greggy shake his head. "Kumain ka na dear?" Tanong ni Irene that made him stop for a second.

"Ahh? Oo." He answered.

"Anong kinain mo?" Tanong ni Irene, feeling something different about it.

Gregg's mind stop, "Shit mag isip ka." He quickly said to his mind.

"Chicken... Fried chicken." Sagot niya agad since yun yung naisip niya.

"Ah talaga?" Irene said still did not convinced about it.

"Oo dear." Sabi ni Greggy, "Mamaya na. I have a meeting na dear." He said since he can feel that Irene is already losing his mood.

"Sige." Irene hissed a little.

"I love you!" Greggy is waiting her reply but she just nod and ended the call.

Irene called his secretary. "Trisha?" She said when Trisha answer the call.

"Hello po ma'am." Bati agad niya.

"Si Gregorio ba kumain?" Tanong ni Irene since hindi nga siya naniniwala kanina.

"Po? Hindi po ata... I asked if he wanted to order something, ayaw naman daw niya po and wala naman pong food order ang dumating sa amin." Trisha explain the whole thing.

"Ay sige thank you." She said before ending the call.

Before he went home, tinawagan niya muna si Alfonso.

"Dad bakit?" Tanong ni Fonso nang sumagot siya.

"May alam ka bang gym? Near here in my work or sa bahay?" Tanong ni Greggy.

Medyo napa mulat muna si Alfonso sa tanong nang daddy niya.

"Bakit dad?" Hindi na niya mapigilang tanungin.

"Wala... Wala lang. Meron ba?" He focus on the question.

After they discussed on the location and the memberships. He meet with him and went home.

"Dear." Agad agad niyang bati kay Irene, at humalik pa.

"Tagal mo?" Sabi ni Irene, at tumayo para pumunta ng kusina.

"Ah nag meet kami nang anak mo..." Greggy said, "Natin." He corrected.

"Sino sa kanila?" Tanong ni Irene, while preheating their foods

"Hindi ako kakain dear." Sabi agad ni Greggy since he saw her heating the food.

Irene glare at him, "Nagpa pakamatay ka?"

Greggy gulp, "Kumain na kasi kami ni Alfonso earlier." He said kahit hindi naman talaga.

"Tawagan mo." Sabi niya.

"Huh?" Tanong ni Greggy sa kanya.

"Tawagan mo si Alfonso kakausapin ko." Sabi ni Irene.

"Dear wag na..." Greggy said.

"Why are you starving yourself ba?" Tanong ni Irene sa kanya.

"I'm not nga, I'm just dieting." Sagot ni Greggy.

"Dieting? Hindi ka kumain mag hapon Greggy. Ako pa pag sisinungalingan mo!" Sabi ni Irene sa kanya.

Greggy just gulp, "Tell me the reason? Ayaw ba nang kabit mo?" Tanong niya sa kanya.

"Wala akong kabit." Greggy said, since wala nga naman.

"Eh kasi... I'm just thinking that..." Greggy can't find the correct sentence for it. A sentence that she won't misunderstood it.

"Ano?" Irene waiting his explanation.

"Ano, wala naiisip ko lang na tumataba na ako." Sagot niya na parang pinagalitan nang magulang.

"Sino ba nag sabi? Talaga lang na tataba ka pinapakain kita nang maayos!" Irene said.

Greggy trying his best not to smile, "Ah yung sarili ko... Kasi nung nanood tayo I thought you like the actor body. So I'm trying to achieve that too." He explain his side now.

"Greggy..." Irene sigh, calming down now. "I didn't mean that way. I just appreciate it. Pero if you'll apply it to yourself. Wag na. Your body is already good to you... Normal lang yan kasi lagi kitang pinapakain."

Greggy smile and hug her, "Pero magbabawas parin ako."

Kinurot agad ni Irene yung tyan niya, "Sino ba naman kasi mag papagutom. Ganon ba yung tamang diet ha?" Nagagalit niya ulit na sabi.

"Sorry po." Greggy kiss her head.

Even Greggy is older than Irene. He can't help but to say po to her since she's the boss of his life.

They enjoy the night and Greggy really feel hungry to death.
