Greggy chuckle, "Hahaha! Ineng bata ka pa."

"Totoo kasi, Greggy!" Irene insisted.

That make him more laugh, "No, thank you!" He insisted too to turn her down.

"Ikaw na nga tong gusto." She crossed her arms.

"Sige na, uwi ka na anong oras na." Greggy peek at his watch.

"Talagang uuwi." Irene rolled her eyes.

Irene is a senior high school student, while Greggy is a freshmen college student.

She is walking ahead, while Greggy is walking behind her. "Remember when we first met?"

"I don't." She answered flatly.

Greggy smile, "Aysus akala mo naman talaga hahahaha!"

"It's on the company, that night... When I met your father and you." He started to get flashback.

"That night, where I started to like you."

"Ang sungit mo noon hahaha! Hindi mo man magaya si Ime na sanay sa mga public interactions." He continue.

Irene just listening with a blush, but not showing it.

Irene close her eyes, "Hindi ko nakalimutan. Kaya nga umamin na ako. Baka kasi ako yung gusto mong regalo ngayong birthday mo, pero hindi pala."

Greggy blink but continuing to follow her steps, "Hahaha! Joke lang. Basta kasama kita sa birthday ko masaya na ako."

"Naknampucha, sino bang hindi mafa-fall kung ganyan ka?" Irene started to get annoyed at his mixed signals.

"I still remember, noong binisita kita sa inyo. Grabe ang galit ng papa mo noon, narinig daw niya kasi sa iba na may relasyon kuno tayo hahaha!" Greggy still manage to laugh, "And that's the reason why I can't reciprocate it, natatakot ako na baka ilayo ka sa akin ng mas malala."

"Ano nga ba tayo?" She asked.

He stare, "Mag kaibigan?" The true answer but Irene's heart broke when she heard that.

"Hindi..." He look away.

"Edi ano Greggy? Gulong gulo na ako, hindi ko alam kung nagpapakita ka ba ng motibo o nag a assume lang ako." Her eyes started to form a tear.

"Greggy, kasi ako sawa na ako sa ganitong set up. Susunduin mo ako, hahatid mo pa. Napapadalas na din ang punta mo sa bahay namin."

"Bakit ang effort mo masyado, Greggy? Bakit kahit ilang beses mo akong biguin sa mga nararamdaman ko, bakit nandyan ka pa rin?" She asked.

"Hindi lang kasi crush to Irene, hindi lang to yung gusto kita hindi na to yung normal na nararamdaman Irene." He answered.

Greggy knows he can't do the thing he wanted but someone pushes him, holding Irene's cheek before kissing her.

Irene got shock, she didn't react but just close her eyes. Her hand that clings on Greggy's uniform pulling him more.

"Mahal kita, Irene!" The kiss has ended.

"Mahal na mahal kita!" She whispered still under influence by the kiss they made.

"Happy birthday, my moon!" She greeted.

"I really believe that you forgotten about it." He smile.

"I won't forget anything about you." Her tears falls because of joy.

"Ganyan ka lang." He whispered fishing his phone at his bag.

They're under the streetlight and the moon that starting to collide with sun.

An eclipse

"My moon. I meet my moon." She smile brightly embracing him more.

Greggy taking their shadows a picture, "And you're my sun. I reflect who you are."

"No, Greggy is unique." She chuckled.

"Then Irene, is Irene."

"Look the eclipse this year." She pointed at the sky.

Greggy look at her enjoying the moon, "But I think the beautiful eclipse that I saw, Is when met you."

"Cheesy." Irene got blush but rolled her eyes.

"Maligayang kaarawan, mahal na mahal kong Gregorio... My future."

"Starting that day, until the sun don't shine anymore." Greggy received the most beautiful gift he ever had.
